Hidden Hot SpringsI came here because I was introduced by a friend and a member.I was wondering what would happen as the gate of the mountain road leading to our inn was closed due to heavy rain.I managed to open the gate at 16:30 and visited. The mountain path along the way is full of hidden hot springs. The secluded feel of this inn in the mountains is very nice.Highly recommended for those who want to forget the floating worldDinner also includes Hida beef steak, wild boar, soup, and chawanmushi.I couldn't finish it all.One complaint I had was that the open-air bath was so dark at night that I couldn't enter it.I would like you to improve it.

It is written on the blog that it will be closed in 2021 because the hot spring piping was apparently damaged due to a collapse. I haven't done it. be careful.

It is a quiet secret hot spring with an open-air bath where you can see the Milky Way. The autumn leaves are wonderful. At the inn, you can spend your time in an environment where you can only hear the cries of small birds and frogs, without the noise of cars or the city. The prefectural road that branches off from White Road is narrow, so be careful of oncoming vehicles. It is difficult to back up and visibility is effective, so if you see one, try to avoid it in the evacuation area. The going up is still good, but the return is downhill, so you can see the bottom of the cliff even if you don't like it, which can be scary for people who don't like heights. (myself)For such people, it seems that they can pick up and drop off from the parking lot of the sister building below.postscriptIn 2021, due to the large-scale collapse of the prefectural road behind the inn, the hot water pipe from Motoiwama was cut off and the inn was closed for the time being. I sincerely hope that it will reopen as soon as possible, but I feel sad when I see photos of the collapsed site.

The inn is old and there is no TV/refrigerator in the main building, so I gave it three stars, but the homey atmosphere and the journey to get here make me want to visit again.
