This small boutique hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Higashiyama subway stop. Beautiful rooms, spacious with a modern but temple style feel to the decor. Front desk staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I can't say enough of the size of the rooms! Our family room with 4 beds was about 650 sq ft. Great place, i will definitely stay here again.

Except it's a five-minute walk from the subway station and convenience store, everything else is good.

Caution the hotel charges everything it’s a ripoff! The place seems affordable but when you get there the staff would as when we booked a room for 4 adults. When we booked the room we also said we had 1 kid.The hotel replied 1 add futon would cost 1000 yen but when we got there the staff told us if we were to bring a kid it would cost 10,000 yen. After 4 days we were checking out and our family was packing and we ended up 15 mins late.In the lobby the person told us that if we were late for checkout there’s a fee of 2000 yen! Finally we saw someone else that said their room had 10 coffee sachets for 5 days, 2 sachets each day and they missed 2 sachets and the person requested for capsules and the staff said they were 150 yen each even though the hotel was supposed to give it complimentary.Look out for all the paperwork and read it carefully and ask them questions before you check in

There is no meal and the service is minimal, but the price is reasonable. There are many foreign customers. A new type of accommodation facility run by foreign capital that focuses on Kyoto's tourist attraction assets. Best for Kyoto Marathon (^^)

Although the hotel is beautiful, they lie when they say that check-in is at 3 when the reception indicates that it is at 4, but they are quite demanding that check-out be at 10 am, all this at a cost of $100,300 Yen. In short, very nice but with average to bad service and misleading advertising
