This hotel faces the train street near Hakodate Goryokaku Park. Enjoy an authentic Finnish sauna. It is also suitable for long-term stays as it is fully equipped with cooking utensils. You can get souvenir bread at the bakery on the first floor. Also, breakfast is free, so it's a great deal.

2024.9 First visitIf you're looking for value for money, go to the annex, and if you're looking for comfort, go to the main building. This time I stayed in the annex. There is a free washing machine, dryer, kitchen, etc. on the 2nd floor, so it seems like it would be a good option for a low-cost stay. The lounge in the main building cannot be used.Sauna is good. It was a pity that the cold bath wasn't big, but it couldn't be helped.

There is a sauna in the main building. The annex was old and I was concerned about the smell coming from the bathroom.Laundry is also free, and there is a microwave, gas, and water heater on the second floor. There were also chopsticks, which was helpful.

On weekends when Hakodate horse racing is being held, the price for a room without meals is 10,000 yen or more. It's really expensive. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear the sound of the shower, running water, hairdryer, and TV in the next room.

The exterior walls were under construction, and the scaffolding work was scary.

[Highly recommended for people who like saunas and who are OK with sleeping in the guest room]I stayed because I was able to use the sauna in the main building, and the sauna was the best! !The male and female rooms change daily, and I stayed for two nights this time, so I used both of them, and I didn't feel there was a big difference between them, as they were as clean as if they were newly built. There were about 7 shower spaces, each with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The sauna itself was like a mist sauna, and the temperature was listed as around 70 degrees, but it felt very hot, probably because of the high humidity 🧖🏽‍♀️There were four cold baths that were the size of regular household bathtubs, and I was able to put in my own ice, so it was really nice to be able to cool myself down and keep my coat on.The space was spacious with two beach beds and chairs too! There was a water tank nearby for pouring over chairs, etc., and there was also a paper cup and drinking water faucet, so you were sure to stay hydrated! The sauna was only available after 8pm on weekday nights on both days, but it was also reserved for private use, and there were at most 3 people including me, so I was able to use it without stress. (It seems there were always a few men there)For the first time in my life, my sweetness came out! Also, we were able to use the shared washing machine and dryer for free, which was very helpful. The room was a bit smelly (maybe I'm just sensitive to odors💦), but it was reasonably priced and I was very satisfied with the sauna and washing machine! ✨✨
