The front desk is very helpful and the free bicycle made my day. Room is good enough and the price is more than reasonable with spa and free drinks, everything sounds so thoughtful and i would definitely would love to stay again.

Boy, how to rate this place.Nice location, reasonable price. Complementary McDonald’s tickets for breakfast (¥200 each). Drink bar with snacks (nice selection). The couple’s onsen was wonderful and fun. However, there was no parking (although there was cheap overnight parking nearby). There was also an extremely loud karaoke bar right next to the hotel, so it was hard to sleep.Lots of good points, lots of bad.

I'm a budget traveller. I found this Hotel last minute. And it was the best hotel I have ever been to. It is not a 5 star high class hotel, don't get me wrong. But this hotel has EVERYTHING and more that you might need - for free! …

Hotel was very small for 2 people over 6ft tall. Bed was a little cramped. However, the hotel was great. Clean and inviting, friendly staff and a beautiful, delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. Location to train and bus station couldn't have been better.

Simple place, centrally located in Hakodate. Friendly reception staff. Lot’s of freebies including a drinkbar.Rooms are simple but sufficient for a night or two. I am deducting one star because of the not very nice carpet in the room. It’s unhygienic. Unfortunately many business hotels in Japan use this kind of carpet.

Bed was a little cramped. However, the hotel was great. Clean and inviting, friendly staff and a beautiful, delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. Location to train and bus station couldn't have been better. Not the hotels fault but many hotels closer. I had a room on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. Noisy and no view.

This is a real gem in Hakodate! When passing through the town (which you really should do and check out one of the world's most amazing views — the night view from Hakodateyama) you should stay at this capsule hotel in the city center.Just a walk from the station you'll find A-Gate, an old-fashioned capsule hotel, with a full sentoo (bath) and cozy, nice capsules. The capsules really have a retro feeling, while still offering charge outlets, good lights, a TV and a radio. I had a good nights sleep here. The staff are very friendly and kind, they met each and every request I had and they showed they wanted to take care of their customers. They speak English, which really is an extra kindness, especially on this northernmost island of Japan.Maybe the best thing about this capsule hotel is the many amenities provided. For no extra charge at all you get cup noodles, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, snacks and slippers. You also get to borrow bikes, locks for your bags, towels and gowns. You may even help yourself to their many extra items, when I was there they had shampoo, toys and whatnot.Let me summarise: Good location, good capsules, friendly staff, lots of free stuff and you can borrow bikes. And let me add: Cheap price!Just go there. The best place I found in all of Japan.
