I have been at the Guesthouse for 3 days and I am very grateful to Gerard and the entire team. Apart from coming to pick me up at the bus stop without being asked, Gerard took care of me like a family member or friend, anticipating my waits and taking me by car to places of interest in the surrounding area. Large rooms (it's nice to be able to leave your suitcase wide open on the floor), comfortable beds and very good food (which they offer mainly in summer). And on the other hand, the region is beautiful with the possibility of enjoying, after a mountain excursion, several traditional onsen. Thank you very much again!Pascal

Roxy, is he an angel?The staff member, Roxy, was very friendly. They were very helpful in helping me find my luggage that I had lost in another travel destination. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip.The room was clean and spacious. The closet was big and the windows were also big. The rental slippers are cute.

A comfortable cabin renovated from an old house, it is a great resting spot for outdoor players. It has comfortable and warm beds, a lovely and warm living room, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Came here with my motorcycle after driving the whole day.. arrived to a very cosy and warm atmosphere. Amazing room for an affordable prize. Liked it so much, I booked an extra night! Will definitely come back later.Thank you Roxy and Arnau for the nice company (and soup)!

English below.I often go to Yukiumi House! It's a welcoming place that is open and welcoming to everyone. Seeing so many vegetables growing so smoothly in the pesticide-free fields that our staff members work on makes me feel happy. It's fun to play with the soil together!The location is within walking distance from the city center and reasonably quiet, so you can buy food at the supermarket and cook it freely in Yukiumi's kitchen. I’m grateful that I can use the seasonings too! The tap water in Kamikawa Town is incredibly delicious, probably because it's water from melted snow in the mountains, so be sure to try it. (I used to hate water, but after coming here I started to like it)What makes Yukiumi different from other guesthouses is that the staff knows how to enjoy nature in a serious and fun way.The mindset of enjoying everything as it is, whether it's the mountains, the snow, the waves, or the wind, is refreshing and always inspires me. They will also be your guide, so you might want to stay a few nights and have some fun together.All the staff are cheerful, kind, and I love them. thank you.**For foreign visitors**I visited many times at Yukiumi in Kamikawa.The place is opened to everyone and very cozy with Japanese atmosphere. There is a beautiful farm garden outside and many types of veg are growing.It locates in walkable place from town center and you can get foods at supermarket and cook at their kitchen, which is always clean.You can try to drink Water from tab, which is very different from other towns. So tasty!Also all staffs are super kind and we could enjoy talking over meals in the common space.One of my respectful things for them is the spirit of enjoying the nature as it is. They know how to enjoy snow, wind, waves, plants etc.. so the nature guide by them is something special for you.. you must stay several days at Yukiumi.

Highly recommendedI spent a week at Yikiumi House. It was all great. The house is comfortable and very cozy, the entire team takes care of this. The food is homemade and very delicious. And the spectacular surroundings.Many thanks to Gerard, a great guide, very professional and attentive, and the rest of the team. Roxy, Sergi and Esteban. Thank you very much!! The hostess was very hospitable, explained clearly and kindly, and had a very complete kitchen for use. The bathroom was a shower, so you could not take a bath. The hot water was not very continuous and not hot enough. Very close to Soyunxia.

Futafu is more unique and interesting, so I think it's worth staying for that alone.One thing is that the shower is simple, so it might be a good idea to take a hot spring that seems to be nearby (apparently it closes at 10 o'clock).
