The hotel had great onsen options, and meals in Hana Momiji were amazing! 🤩 first, dinner was a great spread and a treat to our senses. More importantly the breakfast spread was the highlight!! You can make your own kaisen don, savour Japanese curry and have all the fresh authentic Japanese food to your fill. It was so good that I forgot to take pictures. 😮‍💨 Will definitely come back again!

This is where I stayed one night during my trip to Jozankei. The tatami room was quite large so three people could use it without any problems. The location is great as it is only a 5-minute walk from Jozankei to the famous stream and bridge. The bathhouse is located on the 12th and 2nd floors, and is adjacent to another hotel next door, so you can use the bathhouse there as well. It was nice that there were many amenities (restaurants, arcades, etc.). You can enjoy a buffet meal in the morning and kaiseki (additional charge) in the evening. I intend to visit again.

There weren't many foreign tourists here, and the customer base was older, so it was a very relaxing time. There are many things you can enjoy on your own, such as books, free drinks and food, and massage machines. It was great to be able to relax in the lounge while drinking alcohol and listening to classical music.A Luminarie was being held nearby for guests only, so I went there and it was beautiful!I regret that I should have checked in with plenty of time since there are various services available. There are three baths, but if you want to visit them all, it will take a lot of time to move around. As for Momijiyu, I think it was a shame that the cleaning lady started cleaning the changing room even before it closed as if to tell us to leave early. All the dishes were delicious.I tend to run out of vegetables when I'm traveling, but the breakfast buffet had plenty of vegetables, which was good.Calligraphy and textiles by famous writers were displayed here and there, making it a museum-like experience.

I stayed here with my baby who is 0 years and 11 months old.Baby welcome plan.It was dinner time. When we arrived at the restaurant venue, the baby immediately started fussing. No matter how much I comforted her, she continued to cry,The staff even prepared a baby bed for her, but she still couldn't stop crying.Consult with the staffAfter my wife went back to the room with the baby and I finished dinner first,My wife arranged to eat dinner in place of me.but,The serving staff kept bringing my wife's food even though she was not seated. In the end, I ended up bringing a dessert to go with my wife's still-drinking cooking. Was it a message telling me to finish dinner early and go back to my room?Is it not possible to deal with irregularities?Or is it just an assembly line once you sit down?Anyway, I was very disappointed in the behavior of the staff at dinner. When my wife returned to her room from dinner,All the food is cold,Dessert was lukewarmI didn't feel any human warmth at all.He said. The staff at the hotel where I stayed the previous day had the exact opposite attitude,It seems that the staff's treatment was even more brutal. This way, instead of paying a lot of money for a course meal,I thought I could have had a much better dinner at the buffet.Breakfast the next day was at the same venue.Breakfast was ticketed and one ticket was allocated per room. There was also the issue of babies at dinner.I was worried about my drowsiness, soWe also took turns having breakfast. My wife, who was supposed to have breakfast first,Inform the restaurant's reception staff,I just told them my room number and they arranged for me to be shown to my seat without a ticket.but,When I told the reception staff at the restaurant my room number, they didn't understand what I was talking about.I decided to explain the process from the beginning. There is no communication/coordination between staff members.Individuals work independently,There were two events that gave me that impression. The rooms, private baths, lounge with free drinks, and other facilities seem to be clean and well-maintained.On this trip to Hokkaido,I stayed at several smaller inns that had slightly inferior facilities.Over thereTo guestsI want you to feel goodOr somethingI want you to come stay againOr somethingThe hospitality and warmth of the staffI could feel it not only in my words but also in my actions.unfortunatelyEspecially from the restaurant staff here.I couldn't feel it.at check-inWhen I spoke with a veteran male staff member,Even though I was a young person, they treated me very politely. At that time, I had a very good impression.Customer service with the same kind of heartBecause it is a large inn, I felt that not every corner was taken care of. ,Would you like to stay at this inn again? If you ask me,I think I'll have to start looking for other accommodations first.
