I simply can’t believe that this hotel’s rooms and food dare to charge such prices; there isn't a single aspect worth it. The steak is rated at the level of a fast-food joint from ten years ago, the hotel design is heavily influenced by Taobao style, and the faucet at the sink is so low that you can't even fit a cup under it, definitely not come back

Designed by Kengo Kuma. The hall and corridors were covered with curtains, which caused waves. I couldn't accept it at all. It felt like "mourning hall wind"! It’s like a farewell ceremony for entering Taiwan! The location is remote, facing the lake but you can't see the fireworks. The price is high but the CP value is low.

The part you see in the photo is very beautifully done, and it looks like it's Instagrammable, but when you open the door of the room, you can see everything from the hallway, and when you exit the elevator, the beam is lower than the elevator door, so it looks like it's a nursing home. I wonder if it was renovated? I thought it was actually a renovated nursing home.Design supervised by Kengo KumaThe way he creates spaces using wood is very soft, which is typical of him, but his works are gentle but somehow not functional. The approach to the bathtub is high enough that even men can enter with their legs wide open.Bare light bulbs in the hallwayThere is a huge washstand sitting on the wall in front of the bed in the room, with a toilet next to it and a shower booth on the other side.In the center of the room is a counter for one person that looks like a study desk.why? The location is very good, and you can see Lake Toya from the west side to the east, so the sunrise is also nice.I get the impression that this is a hotel that appeals to young people and is a place where they can relax and stay.

The hotel designed by Kengo Kuma is indeed different from ordinary Japanese hot spring hotels. You can bathe in the balcony on the balcony of the room, but I am not sure whether it is private, so I will still choose to bathe in the large bath. The space is larger and there is also a semi-open air The design, if you use the hot spring on the balcony of the room, I think it may be more comfortable to wear a swimsuit. The room faces Lake Toya and has a good view. The room is comfortable. There is a coffee machine and a tea set for making tea. The small drawback is the faucet design of the sink. The height is a bit problematic and it is prone to splashing. It is inconvenient to use a hot water bottle to fill water. .The Japanese yukata included in the room is very nice and can be worn to dine in the restaurant. The slippers in the room are also very nice to wear. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Dongye’s hot spring street, where you can watch the fireworks at night. For one stay and two meals, the dinner is a set meal. Overall, the meals are exquisite and delicious, and the portions are sufficient, so you won’t feel full. The breakfast is buffet style, with not many items. After all, the hotel does not have many rooms. But it’s not bad. At least when the food plate is empty, new ones will be replenished. I think dinner is better than breakfast. The hotel service staff mainly spoke Japanese and English, and I only encountered one Japanese who could speak Chinese.

The rooms are exquisite and the view is spectacular. Very friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. Reason this did not get 5 stars is due to the mold in the private onsen on the ledge and the overpriced disappointing dinner.

This is not the accommodation you are looking for.Stay away, don’t let the pretty pictures fool you.Find a place near Toya onsen town. I am finding it very difficult to understand how this hotel can get a rating of higher than 1.It is definitely my fault for falling for the touched up photographs. It is NOT worth the price, even if they halved it, it’s not worth itThe room is dysfunctional. The location is terrible. You can’t see fireworks. The view of lake Toya from this hotel is not worth it. Just take the rope way up the mountains and look at the lake instead. The beddings stank. The yukatas stank, and were damaged. The public onsen isn’t warm.
