I was finally able to go to a hot spring that I had always wanted to go to.Luckily there were almost no insects when I went.It was a great experience to take a hot spring bath in the middle of nature.The indoor bath was so hot that I couldn't use it at first, but my body got used to it and I was able to use it by the time I got home.Since it's a mixed bath, there may be some difficulties, but I hope it will continue for a long time.

I wanted to take a waterfall bath, so I called in advance to confirm business hours, and when I arrived after lunch, there was a sign at the entrance that said day trip baths were open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the door was locked. When I called, the only response I got was 🪰.Please let me know in advance 😭

This is an inn where the natural river waterfall that flows beside the open-air bath is used as a bathtub. Naturally, the river is not on the property of the inn, but in order to reach it, you have to access it from the inn. It's been a while since I last visited Naruko for a day trip, but this time, as soon as I arrived, I had to fight a lot of flies that were infested all over Naruko. First of all, be careful when getting in and out of the car to avoid letting the swarming flies into the car. The host seems to be concerned about customers having trouble stealing and photographing others, so please leave valuables such as wallets and smartphones in the car. Since there are no lockers, you will be strongly asked to leave your luggage at the counter. The bathing fee was 500 yen per coin. Please note that reception hours are short from 10:00 to 13:00. Because a typhoon was approaching that day, there were no other customers. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs. The amount of water had increased due to the rainy weather, but the water temperature was around 30 degrees, which was suitable for me, who likes lukewarm water. But here too, you will have to fight the flies. They will cling to your body to suck your blood, so you have to be careful in all directions and knock them off immediately if you spot them. I thought there would be less damage if it was a rainy day, but I was naive. Since it's a bath in the forest, it seems like humans have to adapt to the convenience of the insects. I will try again in a colder season.

A man entered the changing room by mistake and saw me naked in my underwear.I feel sorry for the people who saw it (lol)This should be improved as it is difficult to understand.I told the store staff, butI was like “Hmm”😭It seems this is not the first time this problem has occurred.There are a lot of tsukkomi about hygiene.I want you to try a little harder.

The temperature is perfect.The waterfall is in its natural state, so be careful as trees, stones, and leaves may sting your feet. This is a day trip to use the hot springs. You can often see posters of this inn in Naruko, and it is an inn with a hot spring near a waterfall, where former yokozuna Hakuho is staying. The open-air bath at the basin of the waterfall is a mixed bathing facility, so if you wish, you can hide everything by bringing your own bath towel or other towels. Of course, there are flies and mosquitoes.You cannot take a bath in winter, so you can only take a bath from early summer to autumn.Of course, it's not just open-air baths, so I think it would be nice to relax in the indoor baths as well.There are also shops and vending machines. There are no lockers for valuables, so you will have to leave them at the counter, so it may be a good idea to bring the necessary cash with you in advance.
