I like the Sakunami chain of inns, so I was interested in staying here as well. There was no shuttle service, so it was difficult to access (about 8,000 yen one way by taxi), but it was a very nice inn. The facility is old, so I wasn't expecting the rooms to be old, but I was surprised at how clean the rooms were, as if they had been renovated. Furthermore, from the window of the room, you could see the garden and the mountain range behind it, and the view was outstanding. In addition, the beer and ice cream served in the lobby and the food in the dining room were delicious. Before I went, I thought that the main feature of this place was the separate private bath, but personally, I thought the comfort of the rooms, the nice lobby facing the inner garden, and the large communal bath that you can use freely were the attractions. I did. Private hot springs are nice, but the problem is that you may have to wait a long time if someone enters while you are walking to the annex. The private hot springs inside the hotel were nice because it was easy to see the availability, but it was dimly lit and had a strange feeling.

As part of the Ichinobo group, I have stayed at Matsushima and Sakunami many times, so this was my first time staying there. It's a weekday in September, but even with the Ichinobo Club membership discount of 8,000 yen, it's only 50,000 yen for two people. As for access, it might be nice to have a signboard when entering from the main street! There are no white lines in the parking lot, so you can park by feeling. There will be no pick-up, so you will have to walk with your luggage. At the front desk, you will only be given a pamphlet about the facility that is listed on the official website, so it might be a good idea to check it in advance. She asked me if I had any questions, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. I appreciate that there is a monitor next to the front desk that shows the availability of private baths, but if you lose your ticket between the time you check it and the time you take the bath, you won't be able to enter. We were lucky to be able to get in without waiting inside the building after checking in at around 3:15 pm, and outside around 6:30 pm after the meal was finished. I have to walk a little before going to the outside bath. I don't want to go when the weather is bad. I'm glad it's now a cooler season. The path to the bathroom was well lit, but the changing room was very dark. Homemade gelato is available from 15:00 to 22:00. You can enter the dining floor from 16:30, and seats are free. As an aperitif, you can eat something like wine or bagna cauda, nuts, and tofu. After that, you can eat appetizers. Duck and seafood. Finally, you can enjoy the main dinner from 17:30. At 6:30 pm, I was able to enjoy Sendai beef, which was the most delicious dish, so I wish it would be served earlier. Unlike Ichinobo, there is no sushi or sashimi. Since the snacks are also served on plates, I thought it would be nice to have something like a small bowl. If I were to stay here, I think it would be better to stay at Matsushima or Sakunami Ichinobo.

I used it for my birthday anniversary.Yup, it was really great! !I stayed in a separate room in Komorebi, and I was very satisfied with the clean room. The air in the room is clean and there is potpourri, which gives a nice smell and makes you feel calm.I think the lobby lounge with its wood fire is the best space where you can stay for a long time and never get tired of it.You can drink coffee or tea there and read a book, chat while looking out at the garden, eat gelato ice cream, or use your smartphone. It's a great place to relax and play around. You can also enjoy live music during certain hours. There is also a smoking areaThe hot spring feels good, especially the open-air bath. While listening to the birds chirping...And a delicious beer after taking a bath.It was psycho (^^)The food is also authentic! !The style where you go to the chef and have it cooked right in front of you.Everything was delicious. We also have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including whiskey, wine, beer, shochu, and sake, which you can make yourself. The glass was a little small, lolAll-inclusive is great ☆☆
