Showa generation ski lodgeThe current owner's efforts have created an interior and exterior that makes you feel like you've come to a facility overseas, and the BGM playing on the first floor and the ornaments in the common areas have a sense of style! !There was a paragraph space in the common area on the 3rd floor☆The 1st floor bar counter and living room are always open, and food and drinks are available until 10pm.For morning and evening meals, advance reservations are required (separate charges apply). It looked delicious, there was good communication, and they were having fun☆I will do that next time!There is a bathhouse on the B1F, but it is not a hot spring.There are 3 public baths within a 5 minute walk (not far), and you can enjoy Zao Onsen from 6am.There are no washing areas at all three locations, so you can just soak in the water. Because the water is sulfurous, even if you bring in detergent, it won't foam, and silver jewelry will turn black, so be sure to remove them before enjoying a bath.It was a dog-free environment ☆From outside to your roomIf your dog is docile, you are allowed to eat with him in the living room without a leash.It was my first one night stay☆Due to the structure of the room, the dog reacts to the noise from the neighbors and the hallway, and after 10pm (after it has calmed down), the dog reacts, and I have to calm him down so he doesn't bark.I slept with Wanchan as a small fry. (Shiba Inu)It was a good learning experience. I hope you get used to it someday (^_^;)For skiing, there was a lift after walking up the slope for about 10 minutes.The return trip is downhill, so it will take about 5 minutes.It doesn't seem far away☆As an option, you can also have a barbecue in the garden.Smokers are allowed outside.Parking is available on the premises and in the public gymnasium parking lot next door. (Special stairs from the parking lot are also available)

I have been several times over a few years.Always amazing.Especially the food, service and the atmosphere :)The highlight is a proper fireplace to relax by after a glorious day on the slopes.Lemon jenga <3

The whole hotel has the fragrance of cypress, which is very comfortable.There is a bathhouse in the basementAfter soaking, I still feel the scent of cypress.This pillow is the best pillow I have ever slept on during my trip to Japan.The store dog YUKI is so cuteBreakfast was great

Would highly recommend. The staff were great and helped us when we needed. We really liked the bunk bed style rooms and the open spaces. The food was delicious too. And perfect location close to the ski resorts

Great location, food and staff.Stayed three nights. The food was incredible. They serve all high end western food with big portions.They plowed the driveway an hour early to when we requested and moved our car so we had to walk five steps to get in upon our departure. Customer Service at its best.All in all great place to stay, would highly recommend.

Even though I made a same-day reservation, they served me a course dinner, and the service was very good.I would like to go again as the owner is pet friendly.
