**1. Purpose of stay:**family trip**2. Good points:****Room cleanliness:**I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it was very clean and very comfortable. The tatami mats were clean and I was able to relax.**Staff response:**The front staff was kind and easy to talk to. Check-in was smooth, and they carefully explained any questions I had about sightseeing spots using maps.**Location:**The location is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk from the station. Since it's near Kyoto Station, it has good access to sightseeing spots, and I didn't have any trouble finding dinner options.**Facilities/Amenities:**There was a free drink spot in the lobby. It was a hot day, so my family was happy that I was able to quench my thirst as soon as we arrived. I was able to use it in the evening after sightseeing, and was able to refresh myself while watching my child play in the kids area. The family bath was a little hot, but it was just right for my tired body, and the public bath was spacious and clean. It was very helpful that I was able to use the WiFi smoothly and without any problems.**Quiet/Comfort:**The surrounding area was quiet at night and I was able to sleep comfortably. I was a little concerned about other guests making noise in the hallway, but the air conditioner was quiet and maintained a comfortable temperature.**3. Points I would like to see improved:****Room Amenities:**- I was a little concerned that the toilet paper for refilling the toilet was placed diagonally near the pipe under the tank. I think it would look even better if it had its own place to put it.**Breakfast menu:**- Although the plan included breakfast, the menu for preschoolers was the same hot pot dishes as for adults, and the portions were too large for children. Although there was no problem because the parents ate the food for them, choosing menus for small children may help prevent food waste. (Sorry if this is already available)**Aging and maintenance of facilities:**- The family bath had a quaint and historic interior, but I felt that the glass door needed some maintenance. The public bath was kept clean and comfortable to use. That said, the facility overall seemed clean and well-managed.**4. Overall review:**Overall it was a very satisfying stay. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the good location. Although there are some areas for improvement, I would like to stay here again and recommend it to friends. In the lobby, letters from students on school trips were displayed, giving a warm and welcoming feeling.

Kyoto Station, Kyoto Tower, comfortable surroundings, tatami room, free large bath, free beer (happy hour), free yukata, convenient transportation to nearby tourist spots, and most of all, the friendliness of the staff seemed to relieve the fatigue of travel... The hotel dinner (kaiseki) was good (it seems to be good for young children) and it became a good memory with my family... It's not dangerous and good for jogging in the morning around the hotel. This hotel room has a bidet in the bathroom ^^

I chose this hotel as it was a relatively low price for my return from a drive trip from Nagano Prefecture to the San'in region, and it had Japanese-style rooms and a large public bath near Kyoto Station. The building was relatively large, close to the station and Kyoto Tower, and there was a 7-Eleven right next to it. It was nice to have a large public bath that could accommodate 7 to 8 people, but unfortunately it was a little lukewarm. The food was inedible. All the staff members were very pleasant. The public bath was a little lukewarm. The bath in the room was large and the toilet was in a separate room, which my wife really liked. Although it was close to Kyoto Station, the room was quiet. I still want to use it.

This is Kawa, who checked into room 302 on 2024/07/06-07.There was a curfew to enter the hotel, and when I returned late at night, there was no way to enter the hotel or to contact me, and the phone that said it was open 24 hours was not answered. After paying, I ended up asking a friend to stay with me without receiving any services.I feel like there was a brief explanation regarding the curfew, but I don't think it was enough!

The hotel is relatively old and has been in decline for almost 70 years. The service is good. There are several foreign staff. There is no problem with communication. The location is excellent. It is a 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The breakfast situation is messy. The hotel may have a meeting with students. Related, not holiday discounts.

The room is large but old, still clean, and the sound insulation is not good. The location is very convenient. A tall, Western-looking waiter was very enthusiastic

We stayed with our family for 4 nights. Unfortunately the first night another guest(s) had chosen to ignore the nonsmoking policy which led to our room stinking of smoke. …
