Because of the earthquake, the Shinkansen was all stoped and I had to cancel. The female on the phone was very cold and insisted that they would charge full price of the room.—-Even natural disasters (M6.1 and intensity 6 earthquake, they would CHARGE 100% of Cancellation FEE! All people who gave 1 star commented that the rooms and facility are old and dirty. :-/

Close to the Kyoto station, just 3min walk. The hotel is quite old, but cleaned up as much as possible I felt. Cannot expext the good service but it's reasonable to the price.

In my own experience, I was at the White Hotel from April 19th to June 16th, 2023, and I was picked up by a former prison graduate, and we ended up getting married, but I quickly lost my temper. I divorced my husband because he was extremely violent, punching me easily in the face, slamming me to the ground and dragging me, but after that, I was approached by another man at the White Hotel who had a criminal record, and I heard that he had been keeping an eye on me for a while. However, that person was also a persistent stalker, was severely confined, verbally abused, and lied to me a lot.Even though I was worried about it, he called me a liar. It was a huge nuisance. I was able to move because of the exemption, but two troublesome people in a row, my ex-husband and ex-boyfriend, found out about my residence, so I had to move three times...The person who carried the bread at the White Hotel was also a chubby person who was sarcastic. There was also a nasty counselor who said he had a notebook with him, and I don't think I'd ever want to go to the White Hotel again.

Close to the station, just a 5 minute walkAccommodation fee is around 4000 yen for two people. The landlady's personality is very nice.Parking is available free of charge with advance notice. The bath feels more like a large home bath than a large public bath. The number of people who can comfortably use it is up to 2 adults. It is recommended to wait for a time when no one is around and go in alone.Be careful if you have a large personal area. The room had two single beds and plenty of amenities. In particular, the hair dryer is not an old one, but a rather nice one for household use with an outlet.Considering the price, I'm satisfied with everything. It was a hotel that I would come back to again.

It's convenient if you're just passing through, wearing a pack parka, or traveling alone. Within 10 minutes walk from JR Kyoto Station. convenience store. There are restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.Although the hotel is old, the room rate is reasonable. The observation bath has the feel of a larger home bath, so large groups cannot take a bath. The toilet and unit bath are also small. Regarding the facilities, opinions are divided, but the cleaning is thorough. Washing machines and dryers can be used free of charge. I also appreciate the staff's courteous response. When I travel to Kyoto, I will stay at this hotel.

nostalgic. It's close to the station, cheap and convenient, so I use it when I go to Kyoto. Was it originally a boarding house? The selling point was that there was a bath with a view on the top floor.I was surprised to see the ``observation bath'' from the sky lounge of Kyoto Tower.Nostalgic memories of washing your body in a blind spot. The White House, a little further south, is a sister store. Furthermore, it felt like a boarding house and there was no bath, so I went to the White Hotel to take a bath.

I was confused about the APA in front of the station and chose this one. I was surprised at how close it was to the north exit of Kyoto Station. No, is there still a building like this in this vicinity? That's what it feels like. It feels like it used to be a dormitory. 4,500 yen for a single 4.5 tatami mat is a bargain, but it feels like a guesthouse on the beach in Izu where I stayed when I was a student. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, but maybe Daikin is like that. At night, I turned it down and it was quiet. The facilities in the room were a small bath and toilet, an LCD TV, an air conditioner, and an air purifier. It's been a while since I slept on a futon on tatami, but my back hurt a little. However, the staff were kind and the cleaning was fine, so I didn't have any emotional issues. The bathroom in the room is actually large enough that you can only use the shower, but there is a larger bath on the rooftop that you can use. I didn't use it. The check-out time was 11:00, which was helpful.

A slightly inferior business hotel. It's good that it's close to Kyoto Station and that there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, but the quality of the rooms was cheap and there were few amenities. The air conditioner in the room was not well-maintained, so its effectiveness was strangely low, and the unit bath was reminiscent of a generation ago. I was told that there is a large public bath on the 5th floor, but there are 3 washing areas and a bathtub that can only accommodate 3-4 adults, so it feels more like an extension of a family bath than a large bath. Above all, I was often surprised to find that the changing rooms were completely visible from the outside, and that people could see through the noren curtains at the entrances and exits. When I stayed there, it was 5,000 yen per night for two people, but it might be a little strange at this price. Depending on the day, it might be cheaper, so I think it's okay if the price is less than 4,000 yen for two people and 2,000 yen per person.Initially, I was planning to give it a 2 star rating, but the man at the front desk was very friendly and customer service, so I gave it a 3 star rating.

This is my impression after using it in 2009, so it may have changed now.It was more like a guesthouse than a hotel. I don't mind that the facilities and rooms are old, but the employees were so rude that I don't want to use them again.Even though I made reservations for the parking lot and breakfast over the phone, I was given a disgusted look and said, ``I didn't hear you,'' probably because the reception and phone support were not coordinating. For breakfast, I was told, ``I haven't heard that you made a reservation, and it costs 500 yen to use it.'' I was in Kyoto to take an entrance exam, and I didn't know of any other place to eat, so I gave up and paid 500 yen. Ta.Breakfast was buffet-style and tasted like bland spaghetti and supermarket side dishes, which is a personal preference, but I couldn't help but leave it.This hotel may be recommended for backpackers as it is a quick, cheap and easy place to stay. The location to Kyoto Station is good. I was also happy that the nearby coffee shop offered a lunch menu even though it was 7am.
