I stayed here with my two children. The room was also clean and comfortable. The owner is very kind and I would definitely like to stay there again when I come to Kyoto.

A very interesting building. The interior has been moderately renovated to create a modern living space. Low ratings from overseas are noticeable on Google, but domestic users shouldn't be particularly concerned. Thank you for your help.

I am dissatisfied with not being able to check in unless everyone is together and meeting each other, so I will not use this service again in the future!

I was thrown out of the house by the host with my luggages only because I politely asked if I can rest in the living room area for a little while while he’s cleaning my room. This is totally absurd and the host is just horrible and crazy. He turned angry weirdly and cursed me in Japanese (he speaks very poor English). I simply couldn’t understand why he behaved in such a rude and horrible manner and treated his guest in a racist (saying that all Chinese people bring big luggage at that’s not welcomed by him), rude (shout at me and cursed me in Japanese) and illegal (threw my luggage’s out of his room and pushed me out) way.

The host is extremely rude and treats us guests horribly. We booked through Airbnb and today we tried to check in at 11am, as agreed by the host. Upon checking in, the host first scoffed at our big luggages saying that Chinese people bring big luggages and are unwelcomed--that's just racist! Then he rejected us to get into the room saying that we can only check in "on paper" but not physically after 3pm. That's fine, but when I just asked politely that if we could just possibly rest in the living room area, he suddenly got crazy: jumping on the ground, cursing us in Japanese, and threw our luggages outside the door to the street!! We were scared and shocked by his weird and horrible behavior. He pushed us out of the room and didn't even want to return our 800 yen tax deposit. He doesn't speak English well but uses that as an advantage to cheat and curse guests. We doubt who can bear that. All in all, this is a place that you as a foreign guest would never want to go.
