The almost 50-year-old retro building actually looked fresh. After making the reservation, I read everyone's reviews and was a little worried, but the family room I used was clean and comfortable (*^_^*)It was true that when I opened the curtains, it was the wall of the building next door, but I was eating out in Kokubuncho at night, and when I got back to the hotel, I just took a shower and rested in the spacious bed... so it didn't bother me.The breakfast venue was on the 10th floor, so I enjoyed the delicious view while looking out.It was a cheap and worthwhile hotel.

This is actually one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The reviews let it sound that this is a decent hotel but it's not worth the money, even for budget hotel. The rooms are really old with dirty carpets and walls. There is mold in the bathroom. The beds are like sleeping on a wooden plank. There is no option to set the airconditioning cooler, so you are depended on what the hotel decides is a good temperature. The last day I was sleeping in a sauna. The windows do not open so you could not even get it cooler that way. Please save yourself the hassle and get a better hotel for a few extra yen. The location is good though and the staff were really friendly. But still not worth it.
