We had a wonderful time here!Starting with areas of improvement – and I’m being nit-picky here – there was a bit of mold/scent in the downstairs ofuro bathroom, the window in the upstairs toilet room was hard to open/close (i.e. potential safety hazard if it falls out), and the decorative water fountain didn’t work (then got fixed/refilled, and didn’t work again). But that’s all I can think of.The apartment has the perfect blend of old style with new/renovated amenities. The location is unbeatable – close to train station, delicious restaurants, and convenient stores, which matters especially during hot summer months. We loved staying here.Very deserving of five stars!

I stayed with 7 children who were participating in the competition, and I was really grateful that we were all able to stay in the same space because it was in a single house! The room was clean and the facilities were very good.

It was nice to have a washing machine, but the drying function was lacking.I stayed there for two people, but it was a bit too much for two people, but since there are three rooms, I think it would be suitable for at least three people, up to eight people, and the facilities are good and I am satisfied. It was nice that the infrastructure was good. However, there is no smoking area.

I stayed with my family of four. It was close to Kyoto Station, had good transportation access, and the facilities and bedding were new and clean. I was able to use the first and second floors properly, and it was equipped with floor heating, so I didn't feel cold and was comfortable. I thought it took a little too long to dry the clothes in the washing machine.

Compared to other townhouses, it has been renovated considerably, so all the rooms are clean. However, the atmosphere of a Kyoto townhouse has been lost. Not recommended for those who want to experience Kyoto. If you want to use it as a private inn, use goo.

This time, my girlfriend and I used it together, and overall we were very satisfied! The staff were also kind and courteous, and I would definitely use them again when I go on a trip to Kyoto with my family and friends! I have written my personal impressions for each item, so please use it as a reference when planning your stay.I had planned to check in at the townhouse at 3pm, but my luggage was in the way, so after arriving at Kyoto Station after 1pm, I visited the office, which was about a 7 minute walk from there, without an appointment. Even though it was a sudden visit, the female staff member kindly explained the situation. The procedure was the same as at a regular hotel and was not particularly difficult. Personally, I was grateful that my luggage was delivered to the townhouse where I was staying without having to go back to the office to pick it up. Please note that advance application is usually required.Arrived at Machiya around 9pm. When entering the room, you can enter by entering a 4-digit number on the electronic pad + Enter, so you don't have to worry about losing your key as much as you would at a normal hotel. I had my luggage carried near the entrance, so there were no particular problems. It is well-maintained, and has a calm and stylish atmosphere unique to a townhouse! I was able to relax and feel like I was at home rather than an inn. We ended up eating out this time, but they have plenty of tableware and cooking utensils, so it's recommended for those who are planning a trip to Kyoto with 3 to 5 family members or friends! I think it would be more enjoyable if I could go sightseeing in the morning and afternoon, go shopping in the evening, and have a friend who is a good cook cook something for me. Since Apple TV was installed, I could watch Netflix, so I could kill time without having to bring anything. However, unlike a hotel, the sound can easily resonate in the neighborhood, so please be careful about the volume of voices and sounds, especially late at night.Just leave the townhouse with your luggage around 10:00 a.m. when you check out, and there's no need to stop by the office for formalities! It felt like leaving home and was more comfortable than a regular hotel. This is what I am personally most grateful for.·・It would be nice to have one for iPhone as it was only an Android charger.・It is better to have a yukata.・It is convenient if there is a rental bicycle in front of the townhouse.・It can't be helped because it's a townhouse, but there are G Hoi Hoi in drawers and under shelves, which brings me back to reality.

It suddenly appears in a quiet residential area. The exterior blends in so well with the surrounding scenery that you can almost walk past it for a moment. As you enter the front door, you will find yourself in a spacious, comfortable, stylish and comfortable space. The main dining room is spacious with a table that seats 6 people, and the kitchen space is fully stocked with cooking utensils and tableware.Although the bus is not very large, you can soak in the bathtub to relieve the fatigue of sightseeing, and it also comes with a washing machine and detergent, which is convenient for long-term stays. It was my first time staying at a renovated townhouse hotel, and it was a great experience. This is a private restaurant, so I would like to bring my friends again. Also, if you arrive early with heavy luggage, it is convenient to check in near the station, which allows you to leave your luggage and check in at another facility without waiting to check in at this facility!

It was a very satisfying lodging experience. The cleaning was perfect down to the last detail, and I was able to sleep peacefully. It's close to Kyoto Station, so I'd like to use it again.
