First of all, it is an inn with excellent hospitality. We arrived in a light rain, but when he saw us from the entrance, he trotted up to us with an umbrella and sheltered us from the rain, even though he was wearing a kimono and sandals. Before I arrived, my sneakers were wet from the rain, but when I took them out when I went out at night, they were warm! This was the first time I had received such a response. This is a nice consideration even in the cold season. There was also a lounge where coffee and soft drinks were free (carbonated drinks were available too), although it was for a limited time, so I could take a break. The room was calm and clean, and there was also a coffee maker to grind beans.Although it is super Japanese style, the TV is SiTV?? It was the latest Android TV with a keyboard on the back of the remote control! The meal was a Japanese Kaiseki meal with elaborate details, and it was a pleasure to have, but it looked and tasted good and was satisfying. We had a buffet in the morning, and the quality was high and we were satisfied. The bath was a colorless spring with a slight smell, was not lukewarm at around 41 degrees Celsius, and the scenery was beautiful. There was a stream flowing through the grounds, and there was a cute stone statue of Jizo, which made me feel warm.I bought a flower object called ``Karei'' at a shop. It didn't come in a box, so I had to be careful when taking it home, but since I was using a rental car and the Shinkansen, I was able to bring it home safely.Wood or dry? I knew I wanted it when I first saw it because of the stylish atmosphere of flowers and flowers. When it came to customer service, I felt that everyone was always thinking about the customer and doing their best, and that they were enjoying their work with pride and confidence.

Shiiba Sanso is a family-friendly hot spring hotel. Although I did not have children with me this time, I saw other guests staying with their families, and the villa can also provide suitable yukata for children. This scene is very warm. The villa is located in a mountain forest and there are many mosquitoes. If you are afraid of mosquitoes, you need to bring your own water. The scenery of the villa is pleasant and quiet, and you can enjoy the natural beauty while soaking in the hot springs, which is particularly relaxing. The meals provided by the villa are also exquisite and delicious. The portions are just right, allowing guests to try the taste of Japanese food and satisfy their visual and taste buds. Since I don’t understand Japanese, there are waiters at the villa who can introduce the food in English so that guests know what the food is. The breakfast buffet also has many choices, all of which are very Japanese-style tableware and food. There are also tableware for children, which is very comforting. The room we stayed in also had Japanese characteristics. Green tea and snacks were provided for guests to make and taste their own tea. This allowed my husband and I to enjoy Japanese snacks and green tea and relax after arriving in the room. The private hot spring in the room is also very clean. While soaking in the hot spring and looking at the scenery outside the window, your head and soul can be quiet and rested. The attitude of the waiters in the villa is very good. Some of the waiters do not understand English at the moment, but they can still use their body language to make the guests understand what they want to express. They feel very professional and polite.

I stayed here because the open-air bath was the deciding factor. From Shiba no Yu, which is also open for day trips. It was spacious and the river was right in front of me, so I felt more open and could feel nature.I would have liked the bedroom, but it was fully booked so I had a Japanese-style futon. The view of the river and waterfall was outstanding.Dinner is Saga beef kaiseki. Everything was delicious. However, I couldn't take a hot spring bath at night because I drank too much wine. The next morning, I went to the hotel's hot spring, Yama-yu.Although it is smaller than Shiba no Yu, it is spacious enough and clean, and I regret that I only took a bath once because I felt that the hot water was better.Breakfast was a buffet, but it was mainly Japanese food, each item was served in a small bowl, and the atmosphere was good.If I have a chance, I will go back to the bedroom on an empty day.

I stayed here once about 10 years ago and loved it so much I kept coming back. I haven't been able to go there much since I moved, but when I looked it up on Maps for the first time in a while, I was happy to see that it was still highly rated. In addition to the in-room meals and hot springs, I'm sure that the inns with excellent hospitality will be loved for years to come. I want to go again someday.
