I had a wonderful stay at Wasabi Guesthouse. The staff was lovely and helpful, and the accomodation was great (several bathrooms, large kitchen, gaming room with oldschool consoles). There's also the possibility to rent electric bikes or scooters, so it was really convenient. And even though the place is a bit further from the harbour, the staff offered to pick me up and drop me, which was really nice. I highly recommend!

When moving from the parking lot to the inn, there was a slope, but the road surface was red clay and slippery, and I was scared. Even if it's just a simple block, I think it's necessary to take measures to prevent it from falling.

I've stayed at several minshuku and guesthouses in Japan so far, but to be honest, this is by far the worst. There are some parts of the toilet and water area that can be evaluated as they are new models, but other basic parts were too sloppy.I'm not saying they should have staff on site full-time, but I think they should at least post emergency contact information at the entrance so that guests checking in can contact them.I was particularly impressed with the Japanese-style furniture and interior, so I think it's probably open to foreigners. However, when I stepped on the tatami mats in the Japanese-style area, I felt like I was sinking in, and I didn't get the impression that I wanted to experience a real Japanese experience.*This is my personal impression, but I didn't feel that there was a sense of unity in the furnishings, etc., and I felt like I had gathered a collection of Japanese-style items. It may be a bad idea to say this, but it may be good for some people who want to take pictures of a Japanese atmosphere that looks good, but I cannot recommend it at all for foreigners or Japanese people who want to feel the real Japanese atmosphere.*By the way, I was wondering why even though the reviews were good, but now I understand why.If you write a review, you'll get one night free.I was convinced that there would be a lot of good reviews...

The design and the appearance is very well. It makes me feel like going back home and warm. Although the hostel is a little far from port, you can reach easy if you have bike or car. Hostel owner will also help on transport from port to hostel and you can also rent bike in hostel.I am unluckily have car incident during the trip. Owner helps and supports a lot when I need help. Highly appreciate for his kindness.
