Super cute, traditional Japanese rooms. Lovely staff. Had a huge room with a sitting room and a bedroom with futons already laid out. Sliding paper screens, modern toilet, a view of the temple across the street. Building is old with a lot of charm.Breakfast was super tasty and healthy with a lot of dishes laid out in our room. Had a great time.Hot water and tea was waiting for us in our room and the porters brought our luggage up for us.Can't complain.

I had an eel set meal at a restaurant. The not-sweet sauce is delicious, and the meat is soft. You can eat slowly in a large Japanese-style room, and they also serve cold tea before your meal and hot tea after your meal. The staff were also very kind.

It was the first time in my life to travel alone. I took the 10:00 Xingyu flight and arrived at Narita. It was already three or four in the afternoon, so I arranged a trip to Shinshoyama. I was lucky enough to get a room that could see Shinshoji Temple, and even though it was in Golden It doesn’t feel particularly crowded during the week, so you can relaxMeals: The reservation for the day is for one stay and two meals. You can enjoy a variety of banquet dishes. The most impressive ones are the local famous eels and pickles.Accommodation: Although it looks like a historic building from the outside, it provides flush toilets and Western-style bathtubs. You can enjoy Japanese-style tatami in the sleeping area. The hotel itself also provides Japanese-style bathhouses separated by men and women. In terms of service: meals will be delivered to the room by staff, who will help lay the bed after the meal. The hotel itself has a pick-up service, but only to JR Narita Station.I was honored to be traveling alone for the first time, and I met a beautiful counter sister from Taiwan as a waiter, which greatly relieved me from the dilemma of traveling alone for the first time in an unfamiliar place.

It's empty and easy to use! Ideal for those who want to eat slowly and not in the hustle and bustle! We had lunch at Naritasan Monzen Ryokan Wakamatsu Honten, which is located right next to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. This is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet meal after visiting Mt. Narita. When you step into the store, you will be greeted by a calm atmosphere that evokes the atmosphere of good old Japan.I visited at lunchtime, and while other famous eel restaurants were crowded, there was very little waiting time at this restaurant, and I was seated right away. This is a big point. Being able to enjoy a quiet and relaxing meal in the busy Naritasan area is precious.I ordered the sashimi set meal and eel ju.The sashimi set meal was brought to us first, and the fresh sashimi was beautifully arranged and visually pleasing. All the sashimi was fresh, especially the tuna sashimi, which had a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The rice and miso soup were delicious, and the overall experience was satisfying.Next, the eel was served. The eel bar is a little expensive at 4,070 yen. There were two pieces of plump and meaty eel, and the sweet and spicy sauce matched perfectly with the rice.It also comes with liver soup, and its elegant flavor brings out the deliciousness of the eel.The eel was perfectly grilled and had a soft interior. Not only was the quality of the food excellent, but the service was also very attentive.Overall, Naritasan Monzen Ryokan Wakamatsu Honten is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet meal after visiting Naritasan. You can enjoy high-quality cuisine in a calm, old-fashioned atmosphere. The deliciousness of the eel jus and sashimi set meals are exceptional, and this is a restaurant you should definitely visit if you want to enjoy your meal in a relaxed manner without the crowds.

Not luxurious, simple, with good service, like a traditional Japanese family hotel. One stay, two meals, good quality, high CP value
