It's actually an old hotel. The few staff members are doing their best, but there is a lot of black mold everywhere. I had booked a property for two nights on Rakuten, but after checking in it was so dirty that I ended up staying only for one night. That day, I asked for a refund for one more night. The manager wasn't there and the kindly old man night staff told us to be back before 8am. When I returned in the morning, the same staff member said, ``The manager said they can't refund my money.'' Also, it's confusing! When I checked Rakuten Property's policy, it said, "A 50% cancellation fee will be charged as follows. On the day: 50% of the accommodation fee." After I complained, the manager respected the reservation policy. It was bad and suspicious.Well, the historic hotel in Beppu and the hot springs were very nice. I'm sorry, but I have to upload this review because of the store manager's behavior. I hope it improves.

The equipment is old and dirty.Room cleaning is minimal. If you touch the curtains, they will be covered in dust. The front staff at check-in will also have to wait for one operation. The worst part is the breakfast. When the time comes, there is a room call with no questions asked, and it keeps ringing forever until you answer. This is the first time I've been forced to wake up at a hotel due to the hotel's breakfast provision.Instead of refreshing myself at the hot springs, I ended up feeling unwell.I was looking forward to Beppu Onsen, but it was truly the worst experience.I was completely fooled by the Google rating set for a 4 star hotel.

My family and I stayed in a special room.conditionsNo dinner, breakfast included. Family bath used.building structure, roomsPersonally, I like the building and interior, which has a Showa retro and bubble atmosphere.Hot springs can be smelly or noisy, but that's just what hot springs are like. Not only in Beppu, but also in Yufuin, Dogo, and Arima! Please be careful if you are misunderstood.I think the number of staff is small for that size. I think there are some places that are not cleaned properly. The room was a special room, so it was surprisingly spacious. You can sleep in either a Japanese or Western room!family bathIt's slow to enter, it's not noisy, people who don't use hot water don't come, and the quality of the spring water is excellent! So it was great.breakfastInstead of the buffet style that has been popular lately, each person has a Shokado bento style. In my family, we don't eat small meals; each adult eats enough for 1.5 people and each child eats an adult portion. There were quite a lot of food for both adults and children, so it took a surprisingly long time to finish eating.Total evaluationI will go again for a family bath and breakfast included! The reviews say things like a lot of cleaning and that amenities are at the front desk, but I guess you all decided after looking at the price, right? If you're going to complain, I think it would be better to stay somewhere a little higher (lol)It is true that there is a shortage of staff, but it is quite cheap! !I will stay again!

There were 3 spacious rooms. It seems like it's too big and maintenance hasn't kept up with it. The yellowing stain on the teacup probably wouldn't come off because it was soaked in from the bitterness of the tea, but when I washed it quickly by hand, it came off right away. The hot springs are beautiful with a blue color. The spring quality is also soft and smooth. There is also an open-air bath. The sauna is currently unavailable. The inn itself had an old-fashioned atmosphere.

I used it on a family trip to enjoy the hell tour and hot springs. The spacious guest room felt a little lonely, perhaps because of the outdated facilities. It was nice to be able to relax in a calm atmosphere with tea sets and bedding.Hot spring amenities are minimal, so we recommend bringing your own.

If you want to tour hell, I think this is a good base! There are restaurants nearby and a coin laundry nearby, so I think it's good for long-term stays ☺️I stayed for one night, but I took a private bath♨️The bathtub is spacious and the children have a lot of fun! ️If I have a chance to go to Oita, I would like to use it again 😊
