It was a pretty, clean, and quiet ryokan! It was perfect healing ☺️I went there with my parents and they loved it.The kaiseki was really delicious and the staff were all friendly! It was a bit far from Yufuin Station or the bus terminal, but it was within walking distance. If I come to Yufuin again, I would like to visit again.

It's definitely the best! The rooms, service, and hot springs are all excellent! It was so good. Kaiseki and breakfast are also very delicious. It was so good that I didn't have to stop walking. The only downside was that it was difficult to catch a taxi from Yufuin Station. Hahaha I really want to come back!

It was a very nice and elegant inn, with natural hot spring water and an open-air bath in each room. The food was delicious, and we were able to welcome a good year with heartfelt hospitality, and we were able to fulfill our filial piety to our parents. This is also a ryokan that you definitely want to visit if you have the chance.

Each room has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and the hot water is good. The service is also good.Unfortunately, the smell in the toilet was unbearable. This may be unavoidable since it's an old inn, but it was painful to go to the bathroom in the morning. Also, the small towel in the bathroom (perhaps for drying hands?) was so old that my friend insisted that it was for cleaning, not for drying hands (lol).Everything else was good.We could also see fireflies at night. This is an inn I would definitely like to stay at again. Also, it may not be suitable if you have small children.

This was the hotel I stayed at on my first visit to Yufuin. I was able to spend a relaxing time in a quiet environment. It is quite far from the city of Yufuin, and the surrounding area is very quiet with a peaceful rural landscape. It is a very good place for a walking course as it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Lake Kinrinko. The facility is not very new, but it is well maintained and feels comfortable. Each guest room is completely independent and has been designed so that you cannot see much of the other guest rooms from the approach. Guest rooms have an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so you can enjoy the hot springs slowly. I had my meal in a separate private room, so I was able to enjoy it calmly, but since the time was set, I think it would have been better to take it a little more slowly! As a sake lover, I think it would have been nice to have more options for sake. The staff's response is not formal and the atmosphere is relaxing. When I visited, it happened to be the best time to see fireflies, and the staff told me about it and I was able to see them.

I regretted walking about 15 minutes on the way there and regretted that there was no shuttle service, but I couldn't forget the kaiseki and breakfast. The menu is diverse and very fresh.Except on the way from the accommodation to the restaurant, it seems better because there is less chance of encountering travelers. The only downside is the distance🔅🔅🔅If there is a shuttle serviceI usually take a morning flight and arrive in Yufuin around 12 o'clock. It's perfect for sending your luggage and looking around the area.Because that service doesn't exist...Highly recommended for those arriving in Yufuin around the check-in time! There are bugs in the hot spring (eco-friendly?^^)However, the accommodation was clean and spacious, and the food quality was good.I love you so much I have no regrets!

I had a wonderful time in this private villa! They had less than 10 villas so you could feel the privacy and quietness. Inside the villa was spacious and comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor onsen. Though the living room area was a bit old, I loved how they had a corridor section where you can sit in the chair and enjoy tea while looking out at the private outdoor onsen. That was a perfect area for cooling down after onsen! The little garden in between the villas were well-maintained with various kinds of flowers, plants and trees. Thumbs up to the gardener!Like many other reviewers said, the kaiseiki dinner and breakfast provided by the inn were delicious! They used simple ingredients, nothing big and fancy, but a nice taste of local fresh ingredients according to seasons, the dishes would leave you with a satisfying tummy. I also loved how they provided both male and female yukata so you could get change for dinner / breakfast. It was a very down to earth experience! The slight disappointments would be the location of the inn - it was very far away from the train station. I walked uphill to the inn with my suitcase when I arrived at Yufuin and it took me around half an hour in sweat. Highly advise taking a taxi from the station instead! Also the receptionist had a stony-faced when I arrived and it was not very welcoming, which was rather rare considering it was a private villa.Other than that, it was worth the money to stay at this place!
