This is my third stay in Beppu and my first stay. While there are many inns and hotels, this time we decided to go here. The hot springs and food were as expected.Unfortunately, I couldn't enter all the hot springs. All the staff members were very enthusiastic and made my stay very comfortable. Some famous person ever? I wonder what the hotel was like•••( ´△`)I regret not being able to stay there from the beginning.I don't know when it will be, but I definitely want to visit again.

As you would expect from a 1 Michelin star inn, the food was extremely delicious. The delicacy of the taste and the luxury of the ingredients. Particularly impressive were dishes like porridge, bowls, pudding, and grilled fish. Of course everything else was delicious. I bought some pudding as a souvenir and brought it back to Haneda.I have stayed at many good inns and five-star hotels overseas, but there are very few places that I feel strongly about returning to.I would like to come stay here again. I plan on repeating it next year or the year after. The hot springs are so good that you can soak in them for a long time. It feels like it's in lotion. We look forward to working with you again.By the way, in the park on the way from Ogura-san to Jigoku Meguri (12 minutes walk), there are two high slides that even I, an adult over 30, can enjoy. It seems that the slide was more fun than the sightseeing.

At the end of 2023, I stayed in a room with an indoor bath. The room had a retro interior and was very clean. There are 6 baths that can be closed with an internal lock, similar to family baths. Teruyu, which has blue hot water, is said to be the most popular. The bath at Gekkaan may not be as blue as Teruyu, but it was also blue. When I visited, I was told that I could take a bath by calling the front desk until 9 pm, and that I could take a bath any time after 9 pm if it was empty, so I thoroughly enjoyed the four baths, including the one in my room. You can see the color better if you take a bath while the sun is shining, so it may be best to take a bath immediately after check-in or in the morning. The food was amazing and I was very impressed with the dinner.I think the menu changes with the seasons, but the dishes include Seki mackerel and puffer fish milt, and the soup stock in the bowl is very delicious. The Bungo beef was also delicious with just the right amount of fat, and the hell steamed vegetables that accompanied the Bungo beef had a nice aroma and were very delicious. As for the serving style, at so-called ryokan inns, the food is served all at once, but it was also good to have the aperitif, appetizer, rice bowl, etc. served in that order. The staff were also very active and cheerful, and we were very grateful for their hospitality. This was the most impressive stay I had on my journey so far.I hope to have the opportunity to serve you again.
