The reading is "Hatagoya". Personally, I felt excited and it was the best because it was built like a motel that I have seen in Western movies. The only amenities are towels, so you have to bring your own toothbrush or buy one. The rule is to throw away your own garbage at the garbage dump. The trash can in the room isn't big enough, so if you want to have a take-out lunch for dinner, you won't be able to fit it in without a separate plastic bag. The microwave and kettle are in the lobby, and I would have liked to have a kettle in the room, but it was an interesting feeling to fill cup noodles with hot water in the lobby and then go back to the room.

This is my second time using the family lodge, and it seems to be modeled after motor hotels common in America. The price includes a light meal of bread and coffee in the morning.The good thing about this place is that it is designed for family use, so there are two queen size beds and a spacious bathtub.Although the facilities are old, they are kept clean.

It's not a luxurious room, but it's spacious and relaxing. There are supermarkets and convenience stores within 5-6 minutes by car.

Thank you for taking care of me when I was playing at Kamogawa Sea World. It is located quite high up from Katsuura Port. You can see a little of the ocean from the waiting room of the inn. You can feel safe in the event of an emergency such as an earthquake or tsunami. You can access Katsuura Morning Market in about 5 minutes. There is also a washing area outside for those who want to wash their hands after playing in the sea. In terms of facilities, it is a normal inn. I noticed that there was a bit of dust accumulating on the ventilation fan and hair dryer.

It's difficult to get there without a car. I had to walk uphill for about 20 minutes from Katsuura Station to the hotel... However, since you tend to eat too much when you travel, it might be a good idea to go on foot for some exercise.The lounge has a very cute interior.The room smells musty. However, it may be quite common at inns.When I stayed at a business hotel the other day, the room smelled like sweat...I had the impression that the cleaning was thorough.National travel support? I stayed there because of the discount, but since I was staying on a weekday, I was able to get something like a 3000 yen regional promotion ticket (apparently 1000 yen worth of staying on a Saturday), which was a happy miscalculation. I never thought I would get it... I'm not sure how long this campaign will last, and it may only be for the first time, but I'd like to stay there if I can get it again 😅

It's about a 20-minute walk uphill from Katsuura Station, and it's the closest inn to the station. The room is spacious, clean, and you can stay in peace.

As soon as I entered the room, the floor was dirty, so I cleaned it with a roller that I had brought with me, but this inn was really unpleasant. It was even more unpleasant to be asked to dispose of garbage in a designated place (a 90-liter garbage bag was pasted in front of the path to the door of room 11). It was also disgusting that every time I left my room, people from other rooms came to throw away trash right in front of the door I was using, and I saw other people's garbage piles.

I used Hatagoya a lot before the coronavirus because it was reasonably priced. I can use the prefectural discount for coronavirus prevention this time, and I can save 5,000 yen with the coupon, so I used it. However, in this group, there are many amateurs who have quit their jobs and are not aware of being hoteliers, and it is unfortunate that the customer service is particularly poor, especially in the case of father-and-son owners. Well, I was able to get it at a very low price, and I know a lot about inn restaurants, so this is what I got.

My child is attending a 2-day tournament at a martial arts university, so I use this as a family.I want to stay the night because I don't have the time and expense of traveling back and forth from Tokyo for two days.Due to the coronavirus pandemic, club members are prohibited from staying in the same room.As parents, we decided to go sightseeing in Katsuura while we were waiting.Although it was Saturday, the cost for 3 adults staying without meals was around 13,000 yen.I was able to stay there for a very reasonable price.There were options in the same price range or slightly cheaper options for staying overnight without meals.Hatagoya was the cheapest hotel considering the quality of the room (privacy and interior appearance).Good pointsIn the photo, I was prepared for a room with a unit bath.The bath + washroom and toilet were separate.In the end there was a neighbor, but I don't know if it was just a coincidence or it was intentional.I felt like they were checking in so that the rooms were not allocated next to each other.If you're doing this consciously, it's a great relief from the perspective of people talking in the next room.There was a normal work desk in addition to the deep table you find in business hotels with a TV.We were able to eat and drink there.Points that caught my attentionI'm not looking for a lot compared to the cost, so I don't have anything in particular...I think the policy of not leaving unnecessary amenities in the room is a good idea, but I felt that the quality of the toothbrushes I received at the front desk was too low.Even if it's disposable, I'd like it to be a little better. Well, I'll remember to bring it next time...othersIt felt like going to the hotel was closer to the university than going back to the station, or it was about the same distance. It's within walking distance.However, if you are looking for a restaurant or supermarket, you will have to fight against the slope.If you don't like that, the only option is a convenience store.The staff were very nice and made a good impression.She said she would use the service again if her child were in the same situation.
