A very good private hot spring hotel, very Japanese and simple, the service staff are friendly and speak English very wellThe room is spacious. Although the equipment is old, it is well maintained and clean. There are only a few rooms, but the sound insulation is good and they are all quiet. It may be because the tenants are of high quality, because the house prices are not cheap.Located in the middle of the old street, it’s nice to walk aroundWalking in the morning and evening, avoiding the tourists, is very leisurelyThe breakfast dishes are very beautiful and delicious. There is a special kind of fish that is only found in this restaurant. After eating, you can go to the lounge to drink coffee, but the coffee is average and the filter in the room is better. The public bath becomes a private bath during certain periods, and you can reserve a time slot. There are also massage chairs, although they are all old models. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the hair dryer. Whether it is in the room or in the bathhouse, it is very old style and it is difficult to dry your hair. Especially the hair dryer in the bathhouse may not dry your hair in half an hour. It really should be eliminated. Got it

I stayed at the Kazahaya Hotel for 2 days and 1 night with my 84-year-old father.1. This hotel is in the best location for traveling to Hita with seniors. The hotel is located almost in the center of the tourist area, so you can easily get to major tourist attractions and restaurants by walking. You can feel the atmosphere of Japan just by walking slowly around the hotel.I asked the hotel owner for a taxi and was able to easily get to Hita Hot Springs, which is about 10 minutes away.2. The most impressive part was the kindness of the hotel owner. They were very considerate of the fact that they were taking care of an elderly person. On the day I arrived, they picked me up at Hita Station and on the day I left, they came out around 6 a.m. and drove me to the station after checking out.Originally, I was going to use Uber, but I was worried because it was too early. However, I was very touched when I told them my check-out time and they said they would give me a ride first. The check-in time was also moved up so my father could get some rest and then start sightseeing.3. The hotel owner speaks English, which makes it really easy to communicate.Even if you're not good at English, it's much easier to have a conversation in English when you only know one or two words of Japanese. When I had to communicate in Japanese, communication was slow and frustrating because I had to use a translator, but speaking in English made it very convenient. It was much easier because I could guess to a certain extent by understanding just one or two English words.4. The hotel’s hot spring bath facilities are good and cozy.I went to Hita Hot Springs, but I used the hotel hot spring bath at night. The hot spring next to the large glass window was cozy and comfortable, so it was as good as Hita Hot Springs. It's a pity that I didn't have time to tour other facilities.5. I had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was delicious, but the service was impressive.Since I had to check out early, I should have prepared breakfast for my father the next day, but I forgot and was very embarrassed.I was very sorry, but there was rice included in the course, so I asked for it to be packed, and I was very touched that they made a new Onirigi lunch box for me.Kazahaya Hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing and enjoying delicious restaurants, and above all, it was an accommodation that stood out for the warm consideration of the hotel owner.I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with elderly people. The meal service was excellent and I was able to have a comfortable and enjoyable time.I would like to give it 5 out of 5!

I stayed on a weekend in September 2024.A quaint hotel in the center of Mameda TownThere are only 6 rooms, so the inside of the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The public bath is reserved by the hour.Choose from two types of baths and time at check-in.This time, I chose the large public bath (2).It smelled like herbs and there was a jacuzzi, so it was great to relieve fatigue! !The room is a western style roomThere is an air purifier and fan in the room. There was tea, coffee, and green tea available. It was a wonderful spaceDinner is a course meal at Akikoso. Not only the taste but also the presentation is beautiful. You can feel that each dish is carefully prepared! !However, the timing of the food coming out was a little slow. It might have been a good idea to have a leisurely meal while drinking alcohol.Breakfast will be eaten at ``Zen'' in the hotel. It is a very nice service that they prepare freshly cooked rice according to your breakfast reservation time.In addition, the breakfast was made with local and seasonal ingredients, and you could feel that they were very particular about it.It was a very nice hotel that I would like to stay at again when I come to Mameda Town.

I visited with my child (2 years and 7 months old). The people at the hotel and the dinner venue were very kind and helpful to children. I had just fallen asleep at dinner time when I arrived at the venue, but they hurriedly prepared a cot for my child and I was able to enjoy my meal in peace (all the food was delicious).Up until now, I had only been able to use the public bath in my room because it was difficult to take a bath with my children, but this time I was able to use it privately, so I was very happy to be able to take a relaxing bath. If I have a chance, I would definitely like to visit again.

It's a very good inn. The staff are all very nice and kind. The garden around the inn is also beautiful, and the hot spring is a herbal radium hot spring with a jet bath function. The food is amazing, beautiful, and delicious. I was impressed with the price and would like to go again.
