I don't even know where to start, everything was absolutely amazing! The staff was exceptionally kind. During my month-long road trip in Japan, this place was definitely the highlight of my trip. The hotel is located in an enchanting setting, about fifteen minutes from Hita station, bordered by a pretty river, which makes it an exceptional place. When I arrived, I was surprised to be upgraded. I discovered a beautiful double room with two futon-style beds, tatami flooring, paper doors... A true immersion in Japanese tradition. The hotel provides everything you need: towels, pajamas, and a complete toiletry kit, which is a real plus. My room offered a splendid panoramic view of the river, a sight that I never tired of. The bed was very comfortable, perfect for resting after a long day.The Caffel also offers onsen, and I particularly appreciated that people with tattoos were accepted there, which allowed me to fully enjoy my first onsen. The hotel also has a common area that I found great: a small labyrinth of cocooning corners where you can sit down to read a manga from the large library or watch a film on Netflix, each corner having small televisions. It was a real favorite for me!The included breakfast was simply exceptional, as beautiful as it was delicious. You have the choice between a Western or Japanese breakfast. I opted for the Western breakfast: a delicious vegetable broth, soft-boiled egg, small fresh salad of cabbage and shrimp, rusk with slightly sweet butter, English muffin with salad, tomato, cheese and bacon, and finally a panna cotta with some fruit and a red fruit coulis. Everything was exquisite! Don't forget to take the breakfast option if it is not included in your stay. You will also have the choice between juice or milk. The hotel team is wonderful. Although I arrived before check-in time, they still gave me the keys to my room, and the staff speaks perfect English, which is a real asset in the middle of the Japanese countryside. Another nice little detail: on the reception floor, you can help yourself to fresh water with biscuits, and enjoy a rest room equipped with hammocks and massage seats. A real plus in this warm and friendly hotel. As a tourism professional, I highly recommend this establishment, which is undoubtedly the best among my 17 destinations around the world. I would have loved to stay there a few more days..."

I went there by rental car, and in fact, I went because the river view was pretty. It was cost-effective and there was no need to pay expensive money to go to a hotel. The room facilities were old, but not inconvenient, and the auxiliary facilities were nice and had a massage machine. If the weather is nice, you can take a walk and get some fresh air from the river in front of the hotel.

Boutoque hotel in Hinano. Overall nice stopover for us. Check in was swift and well organized. We have in room onzen which were convenient. Each floor has different theme, ours was Audrey Hapburn.Nice rooms with hip deco, spacious and beautiful. In room onzen means we have to bathe on the veranda. Awkward at first but relaxed afterwards. Comfy bed but extra pillow please.Set breakfast were also very good.In all such a great experience and nostalgic, not to miss in Hita.

The rooms are spacious and the river view is fantastic. I stayed on the 6th floor, and the view was the kind of place that made me want to stay one more night. There is a play room created by the owner for guests, and it is truly worth the price of accommodation. If you come to Hita, please be sure to visit. The building is a little old, but it's clean so there's no problem.

Repeater. It's been about a year. Everything was clean, including the room. During your stay, you can drink coffee for free, and there is a footbath where you can relax while looking out at the Mikuma River. Enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath in a massage chair. The sauna was also able to be used as a louryu.

Is the foreign guy at the cafe behind the scenes? I felt uncomfortable because I could hear what was being said.

It was a suitable accommodation for a trip to Hita. The room we were assigned had a view of the Harp River, and perhaps because it was a weekday, we received a free upgrade. It's cool to take pictures at sunset. If you have a room that doesn't have a good view of the river, you can go to the bathhouse and see it. At late hours, all lights in the first floor lounge are turned off. The staff was friendly. You can get cup ramen water by using the tea brewing machine in the room. There was also a pitcher of ice water, and I was surprised that it didn't melt until the next morning. As it is a rural area, there were some wheels. (Smoking room) The B Course 100 yen bus to and from Hita Bus Terminal passes in front. It's difficult to get the timing right, but if you do it right, you can get off in front of the Hita Tourist Information Center or Hita Bus Terminal for cheap.

I stayed for one night in a double room (randomly assigned accommodation, the price is for a single room). Water is provided in pots rather than plastic bottles. The cups are also provided as glass cups, not disposable cups. Personally, I felt uncomfortable. There was quite a bit of dust sitting on the glass cups. I had no choice but to wipe it in the sink. This made me question whether the water in the pot was okay, so I couldn't drink it. There were no problems with the bathroom, but the facilities were quite old and it was inconvenient to shower. The bathroom didn't smell bad, but it had a bitter scent that was unpleasant.Despite these inconveniences, there is a reason why I gave it a good rating. This is because the facilities are good and the staff are friendly. There is a large entertainment facility (comic book room, board game room, massage chair, hammock, computer, etc.) that would be great if you come with a friend or lover. In particular, if you look around the comic book room, you will find facilities that make it fun to play hide and seek. Plus, the spacious place was decorated very well. It was so comfortable that I preferred it to my previous room. Amenities are also almost unlimited. I was grateful to the young female employee working in the kitchen for speaking Korean, even though she was not good at it, and for responding kindly. However, the slightly older female staff member at the front desk did not have a smile at all and seemed a bit scared.During my few days in Japan, I have never seen anyone treat me so harshly. On the second day, I stayed in a room with an outdoor bath. It's much better here. In the case of a double room, the entrance was straight up when you left the room, so it was difficult to get around if you left the bathroom door open, but this was much more spacious and nice. The view from the open-air bath was also nice. However, perhaps because it is summer, insects chase the light and stick to the windows in great numbers at night. We recommend that you be careful and close your curtains before nightfall.Overall... it wasn't bad. The location was good and the food tasted good. I just wish they provided water and cups for single use.Personally, I think the toilet and bathroom are important, so I don't think I will go there until these two are improved.
