It was a bit nervous to stay in a B&B for the first time, but overall it was great. The room facilities were warm and spacious, and the hot springs were very comfortable.

My partner and I have been traveling across Japan for a few weeks, and this was the first accommodation that we were sad to leave. It's a wonderfully homey place. It feels like staying at a friend's house, but your friend also happens to have several wonderful hotspring baths in their home. The owner was so very welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We really enjoyed staying at his place and chatting with him. It's in a great area as well if you want to explore many local onsens. I really hope to return to Beppu and stay at Mikasaya again someday.

Good cost performance. The private bath was empty so I could use it whenever I wanted. You can enjoy 3 types of baths. It's close to Jigoku Meguri and in the middle of a hot spring area, making it perfect for sightseeing.

You can cook your own meals, and there are many hot springs nearby, so you can visit them as well. There are also three hot springs at the inn, so you can enjoy them as many times as you like. This is a great inn for relaxing and touring hot springs.

Even though it's an old-fashioned building, it has Wi-Fi, a 24-hour private bath, a self-cooking space, a shared refrigerator, and several public hot springs within walking distance, making it the perfect hot spring inn!
