The room here is big and nice, but there were a lot of mosquitoes in the hot spring (I can't help it) but it's not good for the price.Especially kaiseki? Breakfast? Both meals were really, really bad. It's better to just go out and buy something. The rice was really tasty. I can't believe the reviews saying it was good.

It was a lovely place. I recommend going there to celebrate your anniversary. There were many hot springs, and the food was delicious and I was very satisfied. Thank you for your help.

A family of four with two children stayed for one night on September 13th and 14th. I was worried because I couldn't speak English or Japanese, but there was an employee who spoke Korean so well that I thought he was Korean. Interpretation is available, so you can stay without any inconvenience. The location is right next to Yufuin Street, so you can go anywhere on foot. Kinrinko Lake is a location where 3- and 4-year-old children can get around on foot without a stroller, and the dinner course provided as standard at the hotel is the best. The hot springs in the rooms are also really nice. After finishing my schedule and going to the hot springs with my kids, my fatigue went away by itself.Atmosphere, location, room conditions, and service are 10 out of 10.

Great place. Close to a lot of the places you’re going to want to visit at Yufuin. The hotel was kind enough to drop us off at the train station on the day we checked out. Meals are served in your own little room in the dining area. Fantastic kaiseki meal. Hopefully will get the chance to return one day to visit again. If you’re ever needing Japan travel tips, let me know.

We had a room with a private outdoor onsen. The temperature of the onsen can be adjusted easily with the valves. I do appreciate that the most because I find that a number of the onsens are just a tad bit too hot for me. …

This was my first time in Yufuin, and I made a reservation because it was an inn with a private bathroom. The maisonette type room is too spacious for two people. The facility equipment is old, but not so much that it bothers me.There are four baths outside the guest rooms. On that day, we could see the stars clearly from the open-air bath in our guest room.Meals are also served in a private room, allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay. Of course, the food was delicious. I think the amount is a little large. The employees also left a good impression with their cheerful and warm customer service, including picking them up and serving them. For this price, I was more than satisfied with the rooms, food, and service. If I have a chance, I would like to visit this inn again with my whole family.

You can take 6 baths and enjoy it so much that one night is not enough! I especially liked the bath, which had hot water. The food was delicious, and the room was spacious and had a separate living room and bedroom, so I was able to relax.Speaking of greed, it would have been better if there was local beer in the minibar in the room or in the shop.I would like to visit you again.

2024 ReviewCame to stay again and was given the same room as last year. We stayed 3 night this time and had a great time!We saw tons of fireflies outside on our post-dinner walks._______________________________________________________________2023 ReviewStayed two nights in the private onsen suite that was two floors.First time we had a two floor suite, very spacious and open. The water was amazing, skin felt smoother immediately after the first night. The hotel is also connected to two other ryokans and you will have access to their public baths as well which is really nice since they are almost always empty. The food was great, two different nights of kaiseki with Oita waygu, shabu shabu and yakuniku. The portions are quite big, for a women, I had to give some of the wagyu to my husband...Highly recommend as it is literally at the steps of the lake and there is no one around before 7am.

The room was very spacious with two bedrooms on the second storey. Private onsen and food were both excellent. We were very well taken care of by Nozomi-san and had an amazing stay!
