Not rated 5 because checking in and out on a machine is unpleasant otherwise it's a good hotel

Very convenient location. It is located right above the metro station. It only has three laundry/drying machines. Drying capability is lacklustering. Please plan accordingly. Overall, I would be happy to stay here again

Great hotel with great service. In the lobby (2F!) there is a coffee machine (also matcha latte!) for guests. The breakfast buffet is great. Our room was also very good and perfectly equipped. We went to Koyasan for one night and were allowed to leave our suitcases at the hotel (we stayed here for another night afterwards), which was really great about the hotel. We felt very comfortable

This was the best experience I had a chain hotel in Japan, and they were all pretty good. The location was perfect, directly above Kitahama station, and many konbini, restaurants, and shopping were nearby. The rooms, and entire hotel, was immaculately clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast, included for a small fee, was an amazing way to start each day!If you like to walk, many tourist attractions are in fairly easy walking distance from the hotel; we walked to Osaka Castle, though it would have been considerable faster to take public transportation. Via trains, it was easy to get to Universal Osaka as well.I would 100% stay at this hotel again and any other Royal Park in Japan.

Amazing stay! Perfect location (right next to the subway station, in 2 min walking there is another one, behind the hotel there is beautiful embankment, convenient store downstairs). So friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast, compliment drinks, good options of amenities. We were really happy to stay here and definitely will come back.

Great location! Close enough to the bustle of the Donburi shopping/dining area to enjoy, but far enough away to not have all of the related noise. An entrance to the local rail is directly next door (warning: stairs involved!!), with an elevator access to the rail across the street. The room was spacious and well appointed. While there appeared to be a writing desk against the wall, it is not useful for anything more than a tabletop. The bathroom was FANTASTIC!! Based on pictures I had seen, I wasn’t certain I’d like the shower. Rest assured: the shower was fabulous!! Super clean and tidy!! The check in/out process was self-service and very easy. Weird place to insert this, but… if you like to shower using a washcloth, the check in area is where you need to grab one. The lobby bar area is nice; however, staff patrol it like a prison (hence my service review). Don’t even think about sitting down and munching on snacks bought at the nearby Family Mart. While I did not commit such a crime, another patron had and was promptly scolded. My only other interaction with the staff was in requesting a taxi be hailed for me. The young lady directed me to do so myself from a phone app, albeit politely. There is a coin laundry available on the 3rd floor. The machines are all-in-one washer dryer. All were locked (versus in use) when I arrived. No problem! I woke up at 4a to take care of business!! Please know: you will likely need to pay to dry your clothing longer. I highly recommend either doing small loads and/or removing mostly dry clothing and pay for more dry time. There is an ironing room directly to the right. I used it to press dry some items that were slightly damp. If you are self-sufficient and prefer not to interact with hotel staff, this is the place for you!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the The Royal Park Canvas hotel. The hotel and rooms felt like they were newly built, the facilities the room was excellent such as bathroom, bed, TV and power sockets including USB ports, however although there was a place to hang clothes there was no wardrobe. The breakfast was also excellent and the breakfast area was very big meaning there was no crowding or shortage of seats. The hotel is right next to the Kitahama station, this is Osakas Metro and intersects with the Red Midosuji line …… to the airportWatch out though when we landed at Osaka airport Google Maps did not show Kitahama station as a travel option on the Metro line …. I think Google Maps need to update this. However even with the convenience of the Train and Metro lines, I would recommend getting a taxi from the airport to The Royal Park Canvas Hotel ….. otherwise you will pushing you luggage for some time and it completely drained us up by the time we got to the hotelOverall we recommend this hotel

The location is good because it is centrally located and you have the subway right outside the door and even a Family Mart. There is a park with a small area within walking distance in 5 minutes. The service staff spoke English well, which made check-in quite pleasant. There is a gym and a bar that I can't say anything about.Unfortunately there are only 3 washing machines for 12 floors and no really accurate display on the laundry TV.There are ice cream machines and ironing rooms on every 2 floors. As is usual in Japan, our room was rather narrow and there was hardly any room for our suitcases. But there were all the amenities that a reasonable Japanese hotel has to offer. The bathroom was large and had a rain shower. I particularly liked that.
