We had the best stay at the Inn!! It's such a cozy place with studio Ghibli kind of vibes😍The owner is a very nice old lady who has been doing this for the last 63 years, hence the familiar and unique style of the inn. She asked us if we wanted to dress up in a kimono and take pictures. She also made us tea while we were waiting and showed us her breathtaking collection of antiques.Honestly this place is a hidden gem, it's cheap (the rooms are comfy), close to the station and memorable! I definitely recommend it for those who are looking for an unforgettable marvelous experience 🔥

I talked a lot with the landlady, who is about the same age as my mother. The antique figurine reminded me of my grandmother and became a wonderful and emotional memory of my trip ✨I'm looking forward to the day when we can see each other again ✨ Stay well ✨ Thank you very much 🥰This inn is highly recommended for solo travelers who value the encounters they make while traveling.

I had a quiet night's stay. The location is convenient as it is right in front of the station and near the food alley. It seemed like there weren't many people when I was there. It was a little scary at night... somehow... I think women traveling alone can be a bit scary:;; Even in Korea, it can be scary to sleep alone in an inn.The rooms are clean. However, if you are thinking of a hotel or something like that, this is not the case. They said the hot springs weren't available when I went, so they gave me a discount and I got a ticket to a nearby bathhouse and washed there. I also had a great experience at a local bathhouse for free. I can't go thereHowever, the owner's kindness makes up for all the shortcomings. Be kind to the world...If you are a man traveling alone, I think it will be a good experience.

The lady says she sent me an email to warn me but that's not true.I show up at the facility, late in the afternoon, and I am told that I have to cancel the reservation "because there is no water". Even though it was clear that there were other people in the structure.I ask her if I can still enter the room even if I can't use the onsen, but the lady minces words to make me understand that I have to cancel the reservation.Finding myself tired, after hours of travel, and having to find another accommodation is not the best.I have been living in Japan for a year and it is not like the Japanese to give such a welcome.

It was a homely inn with a retro Showa feel. My room was on the second floor, and as I slowly descended the stairs, the landlady greeted me with a smile and said, ``Are you going out? Hi there,'' and said ``I'll be there as usual'' before heading out. The rock bath was lukewarm, but it was spacious and relaxing and relaxing. After staying in Beppu, my skin quality improved a lot and I felt very refreshed!

Can't recommend this place enough. It is a time machine back to the showa era. The lady that runs the inn is beyond sweet, it feels like being at grandma's house. The ofuro is amazing, so relaxing and actually makes the skin much smoother. Is is very conveniently located, both near the station and several commercial streets and restaurants. Wish I stayed longer.
