There was also an open-air bath in a separate room, so the family could spend a relaxing time together. It's spacious enough to put a futon on a large bed, and it's nice to have a separate room.Also, the meal I was looking forward to the most was so voluminous that I couldn't finish it all. It was a great location with a view of Mt. Yufu.

It was a wonderful stay!I had a very comfortable stay with hospitality everywhere.I think Kunugi is the best room, but I decided to stay in Kaede because I thought we didn't need two baths for a couple.There is a Goemon bath and a hammock, and the view from this room was also wonderful.The morning sun was also perfect.The people who served us were a newcomer, a veteran, and a foreigner, and they were all very nice.If you ever go to Yufuin, we recommend staying at this inn!

The environment is quiet, the food quality is good, but not top-notch, and the private bath is comfortable. I really want to stay in a hot spring hotel when I come to Yufuin.

I used Akebi's room.The building and facilities are not new, but they are well-maintained, you can see Mt. Yufu from the terrace and bath, and the location is good, with the sun shining in the morning.The food looked and tasted great, and the staff who served us were always smiling and polite, which left a good impression.

If you wish, we can arrange a shuttle to and from Yufuin Station. It's 4.5km long, so if you don't have legs, please come along. The inn itself is very beautiful. The staff are also very polite and have a smile on their faces. Of course the rooms and buildings were beautiful, but above all, the food was surprisingly delicious. The meat, fish, vegetables, and desserts were all delicious. The portions are large, so I think it's better to go on an empty stomach. This is a recommended inn if you want to spend some quiet time away from the crowds. I want to repeat it.

The location is located in the mountains about 10 minutes one way from Yunotsubo Kaido.The inn is also hidden away in the mountains, giving it a very quaint feel.There are about 10 guest rooms in all, so it was quiet and I was able to spend time as if I had nature all to myself.Most of all, the food was delicious and I was impressed.You can enjoy Oita beef sirloin and elaborate dishes, and the portions are plenty. Moreover, the rice and miso soup can be refilled.The staff's customer service was attentive to every detail and I was able to spend a comfortable time there.I would like to repeat it again.

It's the best.Additionally, the temperature of the bath was perfect.Unfortunately it was raining, but we were able to spend a comfortable time without worrying about the weather. Next time I would like to visit on a sunny day.

It's a cottage-like inn deep in the mountains of Yufuin, and it feels like you're staying in a house. You have to go to the main building where the kitchen is for meals, but all the dishes are perfectly delicious, from carefully crafted appetizers made with seasonal ingredients to fresh sashimi, salads, and tender melt-in-the-mouth beef. Grill the chicken on the stove to your liking and eat it! It's also a very satisfying meal! I was able to enjoy the bath freely 24 hours a day! The staff were also great!

This was by far the best Ryokan experience we had in all aspects and the price reflects it (T_T). We got the room with a view of Mt. Yufu and it was amazing to soak in the onsen while watching the sunset and sunrise. This seems to be a very small Ryokan, with maybe 10-12 isolated rooms. The kaiseki here was our favorite of the 4 ryokans we stayed at during our trip. I was introduced to hojicha gelato here... my mouth is watering thinking about it.The rooms are very spacious, with separate areas for sleeping, watching tv while drinking/eating, and watching tv being more cozy. There were two filtered water dispensers, and several AC units in different parts of the room. There was also an indoor onsen in case you wanted to use that.Our favorite hostess of our entire stay was here and I wish I had gotten her name, but she was so friendly and accommodating! There's really nothing to do outside the ryokan, and you're paying a pretty penny, so enjoy it!

This hot spring hotel is a cabin-style room with plenty of space. It is also very clean and spotless. The facilities provided are very considerate. There are 8 capsules of coffee machines. There is also a distilled water machine, which is very rare. I was brought here to celebrate my birthday!It was a quiet inn in the mountains where you could relax in the hot springs attached to your room.I was impressed by the elegant appearance and taste of all the dinners!The breakfast was also delicious, with rice and side dishes that made me wonder if it was okay to have such a luxurious breakfast.Check-out was at 11am, so it was nice to be able to take a morning bath after breakfast before leaving.The customer service was polite and thorough from the moment we were greeted to the time we saw us off.I had a truly luxurious day.

It is an inn called Yuishi Yufuin.The spacious semi-open-air baths in the guest rooms are fed directly by the source, and the hot springs, which are a mix of slightly acidic and slightly alkaline sources, are available 24 hours a day.The main dishes are Oita beef and Oita chicken, but there's so much you can't eat.Any leftover meat can be rearranged and served the next morning.I checked out one hour late, so I was able to enjoy the hot spring until the end of the next morning.As a side note, the staff member who attended me was very cute, charming, and beautiful, so I was able to enjoy the meal until the time the food was served.

We stayed during the year-end and New Year holidays, and welcomed the Year of the Dragon in Reiwa 6 with a "dragon" beard.The room is "kogomi". I soaked in the open-air bath in my room over and over again, looking out at Mt. Yufu in the evening, surrounded by the starry sky at night, and surrounded by the chirping of birds in the morning...For the food, we enjoyed a rich variety of ingredients, including locally produced Wagyu beef, fish, vegetables, and mushrooms. The cooking was wonderful, and I was especially impressed by the strange combination of Oita beef, homemade yuzu pepper, local warm vegetables, and Karasumi sauce. Also, the Toshikoshi soba served on New Year's Eve was grilled soba, and the zoni served with white miso on New Year's Day were both unusual and memorable.By the way, this was my second stay at the hotel, and during the dinner of my last stay, I developed anemia (due to not eating well), which caused the staff to worry. This time, from the moment we arrived at the inn, each of us asked, ``How are you doing?'' and ``How have you been?'' It's great to be able to meet all the staff again. And everyone's smiles are still a fond memory.This is an inn that makes you want to come back again.

This is my first attempt at writing a Google review because my experience was so good. The cuisine was delightful, the staff were helpful, and the view was breathtaking (a vantage point to witness the sunrise, snow and all of yufuin town while soaking in the onsen).As someone coming from Hong Kong, I want to say that language barrier is not a concern. The establishment will arrange English-speaking staff, extending a warm welcome to visitors from abroad.
