According to the navigation information, it should take about 90 minutes to get from Kamikochi to Pension 500 Mile in Hakuba Village❗However, there was a car collision on National Route 158, which has no detour, and I was stranded for two hours😵💧 It was already dusk when we arrived to eat and shop. ️It was so dark that I couldn't tell if it was actually open, but once I got inside, all my worries disappeared and the warm atmosphere completely relaxed the traveler ☺️The owner was an elderly couple who kindly allowed us to use the family refrigerator and it made us feel really at home.☺️Unfortunately, I didn't have any photos because I left early the next morning.

This pension is run by a couple from Hakuba and offers homely service that will make you feel at home. The natural garden handmade by the owner couple is wonderful. When I visited in mid-June, the sauna had just been completed. I would like to try the sauna next time. You'll want to relax while looking at the mountain scenery without worrying about people's views. This is a garden and inn that you'll want to visit in all seasons.#EnglishGarden #NaturalGarden #Garden #Hakuba #Shinsyu #HAKUBA #Sinsyu

I stayed for 2 nights on March 9th and 10th, and it was very nice to have an oven, hot water, etc. I would like to use it again.

Since I was staying without meals, I was able to use the microwave, which was helpful. It's best not to expect too much customer service. There are no tissues in the room. For the price, it can't be helped. However, the shower is in one place and the boiler is weak, so this is the hardest part.

If you are traveling by 2WD vehicle, there is a possibility of getting stuck on the slope if there is snow, so it is better to use chains or park on the side of the road and ask someone from the hotel to pick you up. There was a car that was actually stuck.Turn left when you see a sign that says ``Acorn Village,'' but there will be a space for one car on the left immediately, so you can either park there and put on a chain, or ask someone from the hotel to come and park your car there. It makes me feel like I should park it on the road. There doesn't seem to be any particular restrictions on parking. If the snow is removed the next day, I think I will be able to drive up there.I think the accommodation itself is worth the price. There aren't many amenities and it doesn't feel clean or well-maintained, but it's fine for staying overnight. There is something like a drying room.I had breakfast, and it was delicious Western food. You can rent cheap tickets to Hakuba Goryu, but you need to reserve them in advance as there are only two tickets available. The people staying at the inn may seem a bit troublesome, but they are kind and give you a homely atmosphere.Happo-one is close to the international ski slopes, and it takes less than 10 minutes by car.

I made a last-minute reservation over the phone that evening. The road along the way is pitch black at night, there are no street lights here? It had the feel of a pension that had been around for a long time.I stayed overnight without meals, checked in at 9pm, and checked out at 5am, so I won't go into details about the service, but when I woke up in the morning and looked around, I was surprised at what a wonderful location it was. I took a photo of Happo-one from a nearby river.

I made a reservation online the same day and stayed with breakfast included. Although the building is old, it had a nice warm feel ♪ I wonder if the cat is a pet? When I thought about it, it looked like a semi-feral (lol)
