Our Family just loved our stay at Hotel Silverhorn, from the moment we were picked up at Myoko train station until the moment we left, we felt like absolutely nothing was any trouble. The hospitality of all staff members was excellent and they could not have made us feel more welcome. A big thank you to Rina, Riki and all the team for a fabulous stay!! We will be back :)

So glad we chose this hotel for our week's stay in Myoko. They were very accommodating and assisted us with reservations, our equipment rentals, driving us around in the shuttle for classes, meals and even to the train station for day trips out. Rina, Tom, the chef Grant, Paige, Ricky and Erica all helped us loads. The deluxe suite was very comfortable, warm, lots of storage, squarish layout and quality finishings. Meals at the in-house restaurant was so excellent in taste n value that we ate there almost every night (we did eat out but silverhorn was still the best). They even customised meals for the kids! Hotel Silverhorn is affiliated to Myoko Snowsports and the coordination was seamless. Both establishments are highly rated so just go with both and make your stay more convenient!

We had a great time at Silverhorn. Great location so close to the gondola. The rooms were very clean. We had a Japanese room with a shared bathroom, which was no trouble at all, most rooms are with an en-suite.Breakfasts were very good with cereal and a hot breakfast also.Dinners were very special, with the highlight for us being a set menu one night, put together by Grant the chef, at an international standard. Something we don't normally do, but was a treat.Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. all staff were chatty and willing to help. We highly recommend.

My family and I have been to many other Ski resorts in Japan and this year we decided to visit Myoko Kogen for the first time. After some due diligence, we decided to book the Silverhorn Hotel located at Akakura Kanko and it was one of the best decisions ever. Our experience with Silverhorn is way beyond our expectations. It's a nice cozy Hotel with rooms that look like they have been newly renovated - very clean and with full mattresses. More importantly, it was the staff in Silverhorn that made a lasting impression. They took such good care of us, always there to lend a hand. We were in Myoko when the earthquake struck and the Shinkansen services were suspended. Thankfully, the hotel manager was on the phone all day and eventually found a private hire to take us to Tokyo, which we were grateful for. It's also a big plus that the hotel, ski school and rental shop are all run by the same company. We were able to sort out our rentals (and returns), the daily commute to the ski lift, lessons etc. with the help of the hotel's staffs. Will definitely return to Silvershorn next season!
