I can’t believe how lucky I am to have found this place ! Unfortunately I haven’t stayed here but I stay nearby in staff accomodation while I am working in Hakuba. I have had multiple friends come to visit me who have all stayed at their gorgeous B&B and they have looked after all my friends and treated me like family.The rooms themselves are spacious, comfy and clean and Shizuka’s cooking is so delicious ! Both Shizuka and Kazuki are very kind and gracious hosts who are a pleasure to hang out with and have helped us with recommendations, organisation and even some delicious dinners. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay after being away from home for so long.

My time at B&B えん was incredible! I stayed with Shizuka and Kazu for 10 days to spend my time at the snow and ski. Not only was my room wonderful and cozy but the different breakfast provided for me every morning was so yummy!
The hosts are 10/10 and will make you feel part of a family while in Hakuba.

Shizuka and Kazu were the best hosts ever! They hosted a dinner party for us, welcoming our friends from another lodge, and put on a delicious feast! Truly above and beyond. The breakfast was different each day and left us full before a day on the slopes. They helped us with local reservations too! If you are looking for a cozy home away from home, let this wonderful couple take care of you.

Nice and very helpful couple who have a beautiful B&B! While staying in a nearby private rental, I became very lost on my way home from the store after it got dark and my phone/navigation went dead. I didn’t know what to do and approached their B&B due to seeing a light on. I rang the bell and asked for help and if I could charge my phone to see where I was. They welcomed me inside, charged my phone, and engaged me in fantastic conversation while my phone charged. They helped me find where I was going, and waved goodbye as they watched to make sure I walked the correct way. While I didn’t stay here yet, we will absolutely stay here in our next visit to Hakuba due to the best hospitality I have ever seen, and I could tell they take pride in having a beautiful and clean place for guests to stay. Thank you for your help, and I will see you again soon! Cassie

The owner and his wife love Hakuba and Okinawa.She loves stories about Yaeyama, Okinawa as well as Hakuba, so she's a perfect match for Yaeyama fans like me! (We also have an awamori bar!)Since it's a B&B style, the owner and his wife will prepare a Japanese/Western style breakfast for you, and for dinner, they'll introduce you to some hidden gems in the neighborhood that you can walk or bike to, so you don't have to worry.The owners are an active couple, so they have a lot of experience information about mountain climbing and river and lake play in the summer, and skiing and boarding in the winter. If you feel free to contact us, we will be able to introduce you to a variety of interesting activities and attractions.At night, when you're tired from all those activities, relax in a spacious bathtub. Afterwards, you can go back to your room and relax, or you can have a drink and talk with your fellow guests and the owner and his wife in the dining room. (This is what they call Yuntaku in Okinawa.)There is no air conditioner in the room, but it is located in Hakuba, so even in the summer there is a cool breeze at night, so even though I live in Hokkaido, I was able to sleep comfortably.I'm going to take a taxi again!
