Make a reservation through Karuizawa Kanko. Since it is expensive at this time of year, it was easy to access Karuizawa and was able to stay at a reasonable price. It's a little small since there are two people in a semi-double bed room, but it's a good value because it's a good value. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style and the contents are satisfying. Neither of us drink alcohol, so it didn't matter, but both alcohol and soft drinks were free for dinner. There is a large hot spring bath ◎

I stay at Itoen group hotels all over the place. The evaluation is based on the price, so it will be given a relatively high rating.August 2023Stayed in a Western-style house on the 4th floor.Indoors: The walls and fittings are a little dated. The view outside the window was of a private house and the forest, and the afternoon sun was strong, so the curtains were only blackout, and I would have liked to see lace curtains, and the wifi connection was pretty good.Bath: The room bath has a unit bathtub, washlet toilet,There is a large public bath on the 4th floor, there is a large public bath, there is no open-air bath, and the changing area is a little small.Meals: Breakfast and dinner buffet, the food is typical of the Itoen Hotel Group, but the 3 types of soba are good to compare, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol menu includes 5 types of local sake! The venue was spacious and spacious, and the staff were very active in preparing the food, cleaning up, and other tasks.Facilities: Karaoke, table tennisThe soba restaurant on the 1st floor was closed.Customer service: I think it's good.Transportation: Close to the station, just a few minutes walk. Parking is available in the basement of the hotel.I can't deny that the facilities are a bit old, but if you don't mind that, the cost performance is good considering the price.Revisit in August 2024I stayed in a Western-style room on the 8th floor. The sauna is back, it's small but it's good because it's low-rise!There is also a cold water bath.Personally, I give it a full 5 stars.

Although there are low ratings, you can take a bath, eat, and sleep normally. The baths seem to be open to day-trippers, so it might get crowded at certain times. Meals are buffet style for both dinner and breakfast. It doesn't feel luxurious, but the variety is satisfying. The all-you-can-eat sushi is pretty good, and the all-you-can-drink option is just as satisfying. There are some concerns about the cleanliness of the rooms, but you can sleep normally. The toilets and bathrooms have been installed since they first opened, so you can clearly feel that they have been overused. [Photos omitted]Don't compare it to high-end, long-established hotels. This is a normal hotel where you can stay.

Although the facilities were obviously old, I was satisfied with the cost performance.Alcohol is included in the night buffet, so I think it's okay if you drink.

Hotel near Komoro StationDay trip hot spring from 3:00 to 9:00 is cheap at 500 yenThere's even shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shaving cream, and razors.Nowadays, hair dryers are expensive in some places.I also appreciate that it's free. The bath is small, the cold bath is for one person, and the sauna is a low-temperature sauna that can accommodate three people. It seems to be fed directly from the source. It's the same as the hotel reception. If you check in, you will have to wait a long time.

I had to stay there on short notice and made a same-day reservation. The only thing that bothered me was that the man at the counter acted like he was doing assembly line work, but this is a tourist hotel, right? That's what I wanted to say.I had informed them that I would be about 30 minutes late from my scheduled appointment, but it didn't seem to have been communicated to me.Also, when I entered the room, it was nice that it was spacious (it was a twin room), but even though it was on a high floor, there was no stopper on the window. Can I be held responsible if I cause a fall accident?I took a quick shower, thought I was going to eat, and headed to the unit bath, which was spacious but dark. I have to say that the cleaning is appropriate. There's hair on the walls, water droplets in the bathtub, and the blue button on the faucet is missing. What would you do if you stepped on it and got hurt?As for the food, it's a very cheap buffet. There was sushi, but the toppings were never dry. However, the rice was so hard that I stopped eating it.I think it's good for people who like alcohol. Because you can drink alcohol as much as you like. (I can't drink, so I skipped it)I also took a hot spring bath, but is it this size for a hotel of this size? That's how narrow it is.There are about 8 washing areas. The bath can accommodate about 5 people comfortably. The sauna can also be filled with two or three people. There was a louryu, but the room temperature wasn't very high so I thought it would be unsatisfactory for sauna lovers. One of the cold baths was small.I woke up in the morning and went to eat, but I didn't have much to eat, so I finished quickly and checked out.To be honest, I know they say it's super cheap, but compared to other facilities in the same group, it was inferior.Probably not a second time.

The dinner menu at the ITO EN group hotel was so extensive that I couldn't resist. It's a shame that some corners of the room are under repair, but this does not affect your stay.

I was looking for a cheap basic hotel to stay for a night in Komoro and this hotel was the only one available. The location is excellent and the service was good, and it was very reasonably priced. So why the one star? The fridge in the room. It was unbelievably loud and I had trouble sleeping because of it. I didn’t notice how loud it was until around 11pm because I had the room air conditioning on, which meant the fridge didn’t have to work so hard. When I switched the air conditioning off, the fridge’s regulator started to kick in every twenty minutes or so and it was LOUD. It was definitely louder than the hoover I use at home. I looked for the switch but I couldn’t find it and I couldn’t even access the plug so I couldn’t switch it off.If I had known earlier, I would have gone down to the reception and asked them to change my room but it was nearly midnight and I was way too tired, from the near 30km hike I did during the day.The hotel has the feel of a typical hotel that was built during Japan’s economic “bubble” period. It probably prospered during the eighties/nineties but subsequently had a drop in customer numbers and less funds to maintain and upgrade the facilities, hence the overall tired feel of the property.
