The description online is correct. The rooms were COLD and the walls were THIN. The futons were also THIN. But the guy at the front was very helpful and kind. The fireplace downstairs once fired up was warm. You can get a pass to an onsen about 5 minute walk for 800 yen. It's totally worth it.

Great location, not too far from the yudanaka train station. Tatami rooms, basic no frills. Restaurant in lobby area is closed. Close to onsen and restaurants in the area.

Very nice hotel. The owner’s daughter was very nice, professional and could speak English very fluently. The place is pretty good and the rooms are ryokan style. If I have to say something to improve, I would say the place was pretty cold! (They offer gas heaters, but dangerous while sleeping)

About 10 minutes walk from Yudanaka Station. Access was relatively good. You can enter the public baths of affiliated hotels. I think the cost performance is good as it was less than 3000 yen. The interior was Japanese-style, but modern and stylish. There were many foreign guests. The customer service at the store was polite. It's beautiful and feels clean. One disappointing point is that I wish I had been able to choose between top and bottom bets.

The omelet is delicious. The facilities in the shower room and room are poor and sloppy. The price is low so it's within the acceptable range. The room is like an old Japanese house and has large windows. There's free wifi and it's pretty fast.

Nice traditional building in beautiful surroundings. Went there in wintertime, so it can be a bit cold, but still ok. Nice fireplace downstairs to keep you warm. Beds are equipped with curtains and are comfortable.
