Highly recommend the Funny Inn! We stayed with 3 small children and the hosts could not have been more kind, accommodating, and helpful. The food was great, as were the rooms, the Onsen, and the location is one of the best in Hakuba! The beds were not very comfortable, but we put a futon cover on top and that made them just fine. We would absolutely come back again.

Exceptional！We stayed at Funny Inn during the 2023 snow season and this was the most memorable stay we had in Japan!The room was large and immaculately clean. We spent the day on the slopes and relaxed at the inn's Onsen straight after. The Onsen is private, open air and clean.Location wise the inn is close (7-10mins walk) to the bustling restaurant street and ski/board gear rental area. Transport was so easy with a stop 1min walk away from the inn (47/Goryu and closer resorts). For the ski resorts further out (Tsugaike & Cortina) another bus stop (Base Camp) is about 7mins walk away. We had plenty of walks around the inn's neighbourhood which was beautifully decorated with powdery snow.Lastly I'd like to give a big warm thank you to Myumi and Hide for their hospitality, helping us with snow gear bookings, transport and recommendations. As hosts they really went over and beyond. As a bonus Meyumi's breakfasts are not to be missed!!

I stayed with my 2-year-old daughter for 2 nights, and they made sure we had a comfortable stay with them, including adjusting meals and taking care of diapers.I chose a room with a bath, so my daughter could enjoy it too.I was very satisfied as all the meals were delicious. I would like to stay again.There were many places in Hakuba where even a 2-year-old could play, so it was a very fun trip.

・Many reviews say the food is delicious◎・You can eat local vegetables, meat, and fruits・Champagne, red wine, white wine, and juice available・View of the Northern Alps from your room and restaurant・Depending on the accommodation plan, the room may have a cypress bath, toilet, and Japanese-style room.・Managed for over 30 years in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture・The owner and his wife have a friendly atmosphere.・Dinner during your stay- Amuse- Raw ham and arugula saladmarinated carrots- Shrimp and tomato cream pasta (gnocchi)- Ayu meuniere- Hakuba pork fillet with mango and apple gratin- Summer strawberry, honey jelly and balsamic vinegar dessert- coffee or tea・Breakfast during your stay- French toast or eggs benedict- salad- apple juice- Fruits (strawberries, watermelon)- coffee or tea・Especially the gratin for dinner and the French toast for breakfast are recommended!
