This is an affordable inn with luxurious meals.Being a "tasteful inn", you can enjoy delicious food made entirely by hand without regard to profit margins🐟🥩I was so surprised by how luxurious it was that I ate it until my stomach was full😋The owners and staff were all friendly and talked a lot about the food and Matsunoki-tei.The bath was also nice with a jacuzzi.The water pressure in the shower is quite weak, but everything else is good so I'll close my eyes lol.There is no air conditioner in the room, only heating.The shared toilets were clean and had flush toilets.The washroom is spacious, so you won't get crowded getting ready in the morning.Although the walls were thin, it was quiet at night.The location is convenient as it is very close to Tsugaike.There is a steep slope in front of the inn, so if you are coming on foot, it may be quite difficult if you have heavy luggage.Anyway, it's an inn that you'll want to come back to for food 😋🍚I'm sorry that the accommodation fee is so cheap, so let's spend the money on alcohol and other things! lol

I stayed the night before to climb Mt. Hakumadake from Tsugaike.They picked me up at Hakuba Oike Station by car, and I received freshly prepared homemade dinner and breakfast, which gave me a lot of energy.There is a convenience store nearby, and it is also close to the Tsugaike Ropeway, making it convenient for mountain climbing and hiking.I had asked for a rice ball lunch box for lunch during the hike when I made the reservation, which was helpful⭐︎thank you very much!

I like that kind of hotel room. Warm, close and nostalgic. The hotel owner was very kind, willing to let my friends park their camp car in the parking lot for free and use the bathroom and toilet when they couldn't book a hotel room on a holiday. Thank you very much.

The room is big and clean. The location is quite near to the station but it is a slope up so beware if you carry heavy luggage.We visit on the summer time because we plan for mountain hiking vut the room have no air-conditioned. I know this is the place for people to ski on winter but it is so so so HOT in the room. We can't really sleep at night as the heat is still in the room at night even outside weather is turning cooler.By the way the staff was so friendly and helpful. I will back if I'm coming only in winter but not summer.

Everything about the accommodation was great, but it was very poorly ventilated. Since I stayed there in the summer, it was extremely hot. Even though the temperature was not too high in the evening and there was a slight breeze outside, the room felt like a sauna. There was only a small fan, and the air circulation was so poor that it was very uncomfortable. This was the only aspect that made my stay quite unpleasant. Maybe winter will be warm in room, but summer is toooooo hot!

We had a relaxed and really great time at Matsunoki-tei. The owner (Cris-san), and the rest of the staff are welcoming and attentive to our needs. We always had delicious food--fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables, and premium meat. They serve a hearty breakfast meal to prepare you for the day's activities, and serve you a sumptuous dinner to help you recover after a tiring day.👌👌👌 They also have a neat storage for your ski/snowboard gears. The inn is very accessible to the Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort.

Just a short walk from the ski resort!Great location!The parking lot is also large.There are convenience stores, restaurants, and rental shops nearby, making it convenient.The food was also delicious!Tsugaike doesn't seem to have many Japanese restaurants, so I think it's valuable.By the way, this time I stayed in a newly built room called a special room.
