A wonderful pension with the best value for money.Although the name is ``Sanso'', this inn is different from the image of the word ``Sanso''. This is an inn with a more high-class atmosphere and quality. The food is also very good♪It's not a luxury hotel thoughEverything gives an impression of being polite, and I think the soothing feeling you get from the politeness is comparable to that of a luxury hotel.I would like to visit again♪

This place is wow! We were staying at a nearby hotel and googled ‘private onsen’ and stumbled across this place. It was ¥3500 for 50 minutes of pure bliss. The private onsen faces a beautiful forest and the serenity cannot be beaten. There are small towels provided to dry your self afterwards. It is completely private, so if you’re worried about onlookers, fear not, you are safe here. The staff at the hotel are so wonderfully nice. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the Happo-one/Hakuba area.

We hired the private onsen for an hour here and it was absolutely incredible. Well worth it. Sitting in the hot water observing the snow is so magical.
