The futon was soft and I was able to have a comfortable sleep.In terms of facilities, the inn is very well-equipped, with a spacious large public bath and a mixed open-air bath, which is highly praised for being fun for families and couples to enjoy together. In addition, there is a large parking lot, and you can also use the parking lot of Kawayu Kinokuni, which is currently closed, so it is very convenient for customers visiting by car. It is easily accessible by car, and I felt that it was an ideal location, especially as a base for sightseeing on the Kumano Kodo. However, at breakfast time, the seats by the window filled up quickly, so I was a little disappointed that I couldn't enjoy my meal while enjoying the view. There wasn't much information in Chinese in the room, and I think I would have had a more comfortable stay if more detailed information had been provided about how to use the facilities in the hotel and tourist information in the surrounding area.Another thing that bothered me was the aging of the facilities at the inn. The person at the front desk told me that this inn has a history of over 60 years, but the exterior and interior feel a little old. There were some parts that looked a little worn out, which I thought was a bit disappointing.Overall, Sansuikan Kawayu Midoriya is a wonderful ryokan where you can spend some luxurious time in nature, especially for those who want to enjoy hot springs and nature. However, if the facilities are aging and the food is improved, I think they will be able to attract even more repeat customers. It was a wonderful inn that makes me want to visit again next time.

Cancellation due to Nankai Trough earthquake forecast.Please note that 100% of the accommodation fee will be charged if the reservation is not made 30 days in advance.However, the phone response is terrible. Even before I mentioned the cancellation, I received a blunt response. I thought I had accidentally hung it on a normal private house.I had to cancel this time, but next time I will choose another hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in a Japanese style room. Spotless room, very comfortable futon to sleep on, excellent service, food ok. Absolutely loved the outside Onsen - sitting in hot spring water next to a river surrounded by wooded mountains.

I originally booked this hotel because I didn't want to have a tight schedule. It's a traditional old Japanese hot spring hotel. You can play in the river next to the hotel. The hot spring may be a bit impurity due to too many people, but overall it's not bad and very relaxing.

It's a mixed bath so you can enjoy it with your family. I had a very good impression last year, so I came back again. Since the river is shallow, even my 5-year-old child was able to play by throwing stones at the riverside, which made my daughter very happy. Last year, my daughter took the outdoor bath naked, but this year she brought her own swimsuit. It was something out of the ordinary and he seemed happy.

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The receptionist, Win, was I credibly helpful and friendly, when we asked her to book a taxi, and the following day other staff helped call another hotel to change the check in time. The Japanese room was spacious, and it seems all the rooms should have river views. The two outdoor baths by the river were the highlight. You could bring your own swimsuit or just use their flimsy wrap got men or loose fitting gown for women. My only complaint regarding my stay was the noise from the outdoor onsen at night from I considerate guests talking loudly.
