We went for lunch after a long day walking. The staff were so so kind. There were not other clients and it was 3pm but they offered us okonomiyaki, which we asked and was not included among the options for lunch. Since we were told that we would have to wait a lot, they brought (for free) some fries as an appetizer. It’s well located, specially if you start walking around the Main Street in Koyasan or you are finishing. The rice with sea weed was delicious and probably one of the bests of our trip 🍙. The okonomiyaki had, unfortunately, way too much sauce.

Unlike lodgings that are expensive for inbound tourists, this is a reasonably priced guest house with private rooms and clean facilities. There are also convenience stores and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. You can also walk to Daimon and Kongobuji Temple in about 8 minutes, so it's convenient for going to see the illuminations at night. However, the izakaya on the first floor seems to be closed from Sunday to Wednesday, so you will need to find another way to eat. When the izakaya is closed, you can receive a piece of homemade bread as an apology (lol)

Minimal comfort. Bedding just ok: watch out for back pain for some.

This restaurant is very cute. The food is good, and the service is perfect. It’s a great place for a quick lunch. They also offered some bred and chips on the house. It was lovely of them to do so. Many thanks!

Fantastic experience! We ate the best hotdogs at Koyasan! And the girls who served us were really kind, they were generous enough to even offer us some french fries and fresh fruit! …
