Even though it is said to be near Kawaguchiko train station, it is behind the station but you cannot walk straight across because the path is closed and there is a fence. You have to walk around for another 300 meters. And if you have a lot of luggage, heavy stuff, arrive before 3 pm, you cannot check in. And there are no people at the front desk and it is very narrow. If you want to leave your stuff, you have to be careful. Plus, I don't know if there are many people at that time. The area is really narrow. When checking in, you have to fill in all your passport information yourself. People who are tired have to fumble and fill it out. Plus, the reservation number you enter is not returned. The reference number is not found. You have to type your own name. You have to edit it 3-4 ways. Waste more time. Contact the staff. They only reply to chat. You have to waste time at the font where there are shared shoes placed. It smells musty. The price is around 2,500-4,000 per night. After checking in, you will get the code. The room is clean. There are plugs, Wi-Fi, air purifier. But the next room can hear everything. And the next room can talk loudly. There are 2 shared bathrooms. You can hear it all the way to the room. Overall, it is not very convenient for people who are tired from traveling. The price is almost the same as a normal hotel. Please think carefully before coming.

I arrived late at night (00:00) at the airport, so I couldn't check in at other places, but here I used a kiosk tablet so I could get in easily. You even have to enter personal information on the tablet, 100%!! It will be difficult. First of all, it is not soundproofed, but it is best for those who come late.

Outstanding in terms of locationLocated in a quiet residential areaThere are only 6 rooms.2 toilets, sanitary system according to Japanese standards and has 2 bathroomsCountertop, sink, tooth brush, 2 cornersDifferent room sizesThe walls are thin, sound can travel across the room.We stayed in a bunk bed room, separated by a wall from other rooms but next to the bathroom. It's not very annoying.Room sizeYou can put your bag in the room, almost filling the room.which is in line with the size of hotels in Japan.Compared to the price, it is considered acceptable. The accommodation is considered clean.Cleaners take good care of it.The sheets are good. Clean, soft blanketThe mattress and pillows are a bit collapsed. What is frustrating is the behavior of the guests who come to stay on some nights. which depends on horoscopeBut I found more good than bad.The check-in system via tablet is a bit confusing. Reading the manual at the table is enough.High privacyThe staff only comes to clean the room.I don't come to sit and watch. If staying several nightsPut used towels in a basket in front of the room before 10 a.m. and the staff will replace them with new ones.Soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, and hair dryer are common items. There is a microwave, small refrigerator, tea, sugar, paper cups, and a hot water kettle. The washing machine and clothesline are outside.

A simple hostel within residential neighborhood for those who just needed a place to stay near Mt Fuji. It is conveniently located near the train station albeit a slight detour. It has its own free parking lots for about 8-10 cars. Self-check-in/out was done via a tablet, while staff could be reached via Whatsapp/Line. Door pin and room number would then be shown on tablet. The corridor could be cold during winter, but the room was warm and cozy. Bed and pillow were relatively comfortable. The rooms were not sound-proof, so you could hear neighbours with loud voice. Rooms were locked by simple number pin locks to offer simple security.Towels were provided, with access to two common bathrooms and two common toilets shared amongst the 6-7rooms in the hostel. Two wash basins were located outside the bathrooms. Small bar fridge, microwave and kettle with sachets of drinks were available.

While looking for a cost-effective place to stay, I chose this place.Accessibility is close to Kawaguchiko Station (5-10 minutes on foot). It’s a bit far from Fuji-Q Highland (15 to 20 minutes on foot). The rooms are close together and the walls are not very soundproof, so the sound of footsteps and loud conversations leak into the next room, so it is not recommended for those who are sensitive to noise. I'm just going to sleep, so noise doesn't matter. If you do that, you will do well here. There are two shower rooms, but since they are shared facilities, it is a bit inconvenient to use them if someone else is using them, so I ended up getting a room with two single beds. The facility itself was okay. It was well worth it.I chose one of the cheapest stores on Agoda and Booking.com, and I think it's good enough. It's a disappointing location for those who prioritize Fuji-Q Highland,If you are planning to explore around Lake Kawaguchi, I also recommend this place. It's a shame I didn't take any pictures... I should have taken some... But since it's the same as the pictures in the other reviews, you can refer to the other reviews.

Samurise was a pleasant surprise. The facility is basic but comfortable and fair for the price. The facility is located behind Kawaguchiko Station and has free parking for those wishing to drive. It is also within walking distance from the famous Lawson Kawaguchiko Station. Beware that walls are thin, and you will hear everything that other guests get up to. The room had AC which kept us fresh during the night. The bunk bed was okay although the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable for us (personal experience). Toilet and showers are shared, sadly other guests may be messy at times. The staff left a personalised note on our desk upon check-in and I found it a very kind gesture reflecting Japanese hospitality. We arrived after hours, and I found the check-in process a bit annoying. No staff member was present, so we had to enter all our details on the tablet that kept freezing; I had to restart the process multiple times, and it frustrated me a bit. In the end, I managed with the help of another guest.
