I used it for a beer break. You will be asked to pay 100 yen to sit on a chair outside, but think of it as a maintenance fee for the surrounding area.

This restaurant is located on one of the three peaks of the mitsutoge mountain. The choice of foods are a bit limited but are very high quality with local soup, pickled vegetables and so on.The food was luxurious with very fresh veggies and noodles as for the pork it felt as if it was freshly cut right there. It is not too crowded with the owner very friendly with service to your table.Whiles you enjoy your food you may also embrace the quiet Mountain View.

There are two mountain lodges near the summit of Mt. Mitsutoge. Shiki Rakuen is one of them. (The other one is Mitsutoge Sanso)Shoes are not allowed inside the mountain hut, so you must take off your hiking shoes to enter. The nearby public restrooms weren't open even in mid-April, so Tamaki let me use the restroom at Shikirakuen. I paid the usage fee of 200 yen with PayPay. The rule for toilets was to throw toilet paper into a trash can like a sanitary box instead of flushing it down the toilet.I was grateful that I was able to use the restroom before heading down the mountain. In front of the mountain hut, there are several tables of Shikirakuen, and it was a system where you could put 100 yen in a wooden box and take a break.

On my first visit, the friendly landlady treated me with popsicles, giving me a summery feel. Not only do the rooms have electrical outlets so I can charge my devices, the food is delicious, and there are even showers. There is also a small climbing gym in the annex, so you can practice even if it rains without having to attach it to the rock outside. It has a surprisingly complete feel for a mountain hut. This is a mountain palace that is more than a mountain hut.

A mountain hut just before the summit of Mt. MitsutogeAlthough it is closer to the mountaintop than Mitsutoge Sanso,There is no better view than Mitsutoge Sanso. There is an open area a little further up the mountain, so you can take a break after walking there. The view from the rest area doesn't match that of Mitsutoge Sanso.Beer here is 50 yen cheaper ( ˙-˙)✧Looks like we're working hard togetherThe summit is about 10 minutes from here.If it's summer, it would be great to buy an ice-cold beer here and drink it at the top of the mountain 🍻AfterThe ramen here looks delicious

A traverse from Sasago Station to Mitsutoge via Seihachizan. The curry and soda that I ate even though I was exhausted was the best🤣
