I visited Nozawa Onsen for the first time in 48 years. It was surprisingly cheap at 16,000 yen and I was satisfied with everything. It's a hidden gem during the off-season.

Although the building is old, the food was very delicious. There is a change of baths, but the one with the cypress bath is small and it would be a bit stiff for 3 adults.

Use for businessIf you are staying overnight without meals and there are no convenience stores nearby, it is better to buy food at a convenience store at the foot of the mountain.I think the quality of the hot springs is quite good.I think it was selected about the same as Daiichi Takimotokan for sulfur springs.

I had booked a room for some reason, and had told them a few days before, ``If there was a Japanese-style room available that day, I would like to change rooms...'' but I had not heard from the hotel until the day of. …

I visited Nozawa Onsen for the first time. I wanted to visit the public baths, so I arrived early and left my car there.I went to the front desk, got a map of the town, and the man at the front desk recommended an outdoor bath and a soba restaurant. The soba restaurant you told me about was reasonably priced and, above all, really delicious, so I was very grateful. During check-in, they explained various things to us and kindly provided us with information about the private bath. It's the hotel's large public bath, and the first small one I entered had clear hot water with a sulfur scent, and the hot water had a lot of black yunohana in it.The next day, we swapped men and women and entered the large public bath, but the indoor bath was cloudy and the outdoor bath had green hot water. I thought that the water was drawn from several different sources, so I checked with the man at the front desk and was told that they all come from the same source. If you look at other people's posts, the color of the hot water is certainly different depending on the day.The man at the front desk also said that the colors change depending on the day. I realized that hot springs are very deep. The food was mediocre. A foreign woman at the dining venue was working hard and smiling. The room was quiet and had a nice tatami scent. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. I'll visit you again. thank you very much.

The hot springs are very good and are highly recommended. However, what do you think about the fact that the door to the room is made of iron?

Although the hotel facilities are old, they are well-maintained and clean. The bath draws its own hot spring water, and depending on the time and day, it may be emerald green or cloudy, making you feel great. Also, the food was local and very delicious.I was also impressed by the staff's courteous customer service.
