My friends and I love this place. It is not busy and the owners are so kind. They help us navigate the area and took us to a 7/11. They service and hospitality is amazing and I am so grateful for it.

You will not find a more kind and thoughtful family then the ones running this Ryokan. We stayed in a beautiful guest house and were treated with such kindness and service like never seen before. This place is a must stay. In a small village beside Lake Saiko, sits this gem of a place.

what a wonderful little hidden gem. The hosts were so incredibly nice even though my friends and I probably just seemed like silly tourist, they still were welcoming and treated us with the upmost kindness. If you want the traditional ryokan style and feel I couldn’t recommend this spot enough.

We booked two nights here. It’s definitely not as populated/busy as the other lakes which is what we wanted after a very busy time in Tokyo. I’ve added a picture of Mt Fuji from our room.Rooms are exactly as expected. Everything is very clean and welcoming.Be careful because we didn’t know it but the last green line bus was leaving about 10 minutes after our train arrived. We got lucky. Otherwise would have had to take a taxi at 5 times the cost.The breakfast was served on a tray outside of our door. Breakfast rolls, Salad and dressing, yogurt, juice, sweet corn soup. Instant coffee. There was an electric kettle to dispense water for soup and coffee.Shower was very relaxing. Host provides towels, body soap, conditioner, shampoo. Also toothbrushesOff to explore the bat cave and other points of interest.
