We loved staying here, certainly the best accommodation of our trip. A ryokan soul, a refined but refined decor and above all an adorable staff who will do everything to inform you and help you. I recommend 200%!

This B&B was so beautiful that I couldn’t bear to leave. Although it rained for two days at Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel was so comfortable that I could relax in the room. Walking out of the hotel is the Honmachi Commercial Street, which means that Mount Fuji is right in front of me when I walk out the door.

The most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed in: everything was meticulously detailed, from the set of cups to the bathroom amenities. Rooms and common areas were super clean, and the staff was helpful, with a very good command of English. There’s also the option to rent bikes at a very low cost. It faces Honcho Street.

Definitely give it more than 5 stars!Clean, quality decor, not tacky at all.The room is filled with the fragrance of wood, the tactile feel of the tatami is great, it is clean and comfortable! We provide high-quality tea and coffee (not cheap tea and coffee), microwave ovens, refrigerators, and plates and tableware. The important thing is that the tableware is very Japanese handmade and not cheap. The hotel is worth visiting again, the location is convenient, and the service staff will also provide shops worth visiting.CP is worth 100 points!

We LOVED our stay at Hostel Saruya. The hostel was renovated, but keeps its traditional spirit while having a contemporary style. The cafe next to the hostel is also part of the business and it is as beautiful. It was a great price for such a clean and enjoyable facility with amazing and hospitable staff members. We especially enjoyed the great teas available in the mornings and evenings. We could only hope all future stays will be as beautiful and enjoyable as Hostel Saruya was. There are also many great restaurants around and Fuji is usually visible right at the hostel’s doorstep.
