Hostel is run by a friendly family who speak decent English. The facilities are kept clean and nice. The bathrooms provide soap and towel rentals are 100 yen. It seems there are different bed types, I had a typical bunk bed with my own light and outlet but no privacy curtain. There is a kitchen and large communal space which creates a social atmosphere. The only negative is the location. The hostel is in a suburb that is far from attractions and restaurants. This is nice if you want a more calm and “authentic” accommodation style. However, it requires a decent walk to FujiQ Highland theme park, the buss station, a convenience store, and Kawaguchiko lake. Overall I had a very pleasant stay.

You can see Mt. Fuji directly from the IH kitchen. This is a fun inn where people from various countries such as Taiwan, Germany, Vietnam, and Japan prepare breakfast in one kitchen. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which is nice. There are convenience stores, pubs, supermarkets, and pharmacies all within walking distance!

The nicest hostel in town to discover Fuji san :))This hostel was, from all the hotels we stayed throughout the month, the best one! We loved it!The tatami rooms were very nice and clean. Even though you have share showers and bathroom it was totally fine, it was very clean. You have a kitchen with all the amenities you need, everything is extremely clean and they even offer you fresh coffee in the morning and very nice green tea for you to take! The staff was so nice, helping us to get some travel information (Saludos a mi amigo chileno!).You can have a bike so you can explore the lakes by bike, which I totally recommend! But the best part? The observatory. Please go to the observatory and presence Fuji san in his glory. It was so nice. We were super happy!! Thank you guys!I cannot only recommend you to go to Kawaguchiko and experience it for yourself :)

Quiet accommodation. It's clean. With stunning views of Mount Fuji from the terrace. There is everything you need for cooking. Well trained staff who speak English. Very spacious common areas with a living room with sofas. The sanitary area in the corridor on the first floor. Brushing your teeth or shaving your beard in the hallway is surprising, but it's a detail.

The location in terms of Fuji itself is excellent and we were lucky enough to get a fantastic view of the Mountain from our room and the viewing platform (although it should be noted that this is EXTREMELY weather dependant of course). …
