During our honeymoon we stayed two nights. We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was wonderful. The staff was very kind and friendly. They took care of us, making our two days on the lake Kawaguchiko, at the base of Mount Fuji, unforgettable.

Had a very nice experience at the ryokan. The rooms are nice and the dinner served in your room was really delicious. We had a mountain side view and were able to see Miunt Fuji clearly from the window. Overall, it was a pleasant trip. Organising pick up from the station was also very easy.

We stayed in a room with a view of Mt Fuji. The room was clean and tidy and the kaiseki dinner was delicious. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend a stay here. The only downside is that if you have tattoos, you can’t use the public onsen so please keep that in mind.

We had an excellent honeymoon stay at this hotel in mid October. We had a room with a private outdoor bath and an excellent view of a lake. The food served in the evening was delicious and plentiful. We also enjoyed the private bath of the 5th floor in the evening. Breakfast was again delicious. We can’t wait to visit again!

If I could give zero for this hotel I would. Im genuinely horrified that so many people have rated this hotel so highly (bit suss but I’ll leave it there). It looks nothing like the photos. …

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience urged me to speak up. As a Korean American who visits Japan annually for onsen trips, I believe I can provide an objective review. …

Service is superb. We came in late from Narita and they even offered to pick us up at the Kawaguchiko Station. Dinner and breakfast are satisfying. We ordered their draft beer and its really really good. I will certainly want to come back. The japanese room is really nice and the private onsen is really one for the books.

With a warm welcome and traditional sweets and tea to start, we then made our way to our room. Mesmerised by the quiet and the beautiful view, we slowly prepared ourselves for the onsen. …
