Tabist is a place for those finding escape from the hustle and bustle of a city's life.Next to the lake, makes it a romantic stay 🥰The owner is a very welcoming, cooperative and down-to-earth person 🙂The owners keep the building clean and tidy at all time 👍A few downsides are:They have a wending machine but you can only get drinks. The washrooms are only available at the ground Floor 😞If you get up in the night and feel sleepy, you have to come all the way down to the ground floor which is terrible. 🙃After 5:00 PM, most of the shops get closed and you won't get any good food or coffee ☕, however, there is 7-11 mart on the main road.Overall, it's a good place 🤠

The location is great. But the facilities are too old. Bathrooms and shower rooms are shared. There are only two bathrooms for men and women on the first and second floors. We lived on the third floor. The room only had a bed and a TV. We had to climb up and down to use the bathroom. Hygiene was also a concern, so I didn’t dare to take off my clothes to sleep. Really can't recommend it to me.

I booked a lake view room.It is very nice to be able to stay in this spectacular view for 11,000 yen. I wanted to relax while looking at Mt. Fuji and the lake, so it was great to be able to stay so cheaply.detail① The outside of the building felt old, but it was well kept. (Water area, futon, room, hallway, etc.) There were insects near the window, but I threw them out the window.I think it can't be helped since it's near the lake.②There were two old-fashioned heavy cotton futons and one thin blanket. It was nice to be able to adjust the temperature (warm) People who are not used to heavy futons might be surprised, but in the past, there were many futons like this.③The room can be sufficiently warmed by the air conditioner.④There are only showers, 3 for men and women. Each room has its own changing room, so you can change your clothes at your leisure with a key. (There is only shampoo and body soap, so feel free to bring the rest) There is a hair dryer.⑤Toothbrushes, bath towels large and small available⑥The toilets, washrooms, and baths are on the second floor for women and the first floor for men, so it is not suitable for people with mobility problems, but if you think of it as a guesthouse, it will not be a big burden for those under 60 years of age.⑦Paper cups, paper plates, disposable chopsticks, pots of hot water, microwaves, vending machines, and common spaces.

The owner was kind and I was able to stay there with peace of mind while sightseeing in Yamanashi for the first time. Thank you very much for letting me know about many restaurants and recommended shops nearby. I would like to stay there again.

We visited in January where temps got to -8 at night. The room was a bit chilly I won’t lie but after a bit the AC kicked in.Views are 11/10 from the balcony, location and service were excellent. The only reason I can’t give it a full 5 star rating is that there is literally 1 loo for gents, situated on the ground floor. This means after a few beers and if you have a weak bladder, you have to navigate 3 flights of stairs in the cold. The toilet bidet is heated but the air being so cold makes for a strange warm butt, cold breathe sensation :)Owner is lovely and place is well kept.
