The stones in the bedrock bath were as hot as an iron plate, and I suffered burns on my back and face. Also, at night, there was only a security guard at the front desk, not a hotel employee, and when I asked questions about the hotel, I was told they didn't know.At breakfast, there were dishes left unwashed and hair buried in the white rice. This is the worst hotel.

I used it for the first night of a company trip.Apparently there was a sauna, but I couldn't reserve it until first thing in the morning, so I gave up. .I think it would be great if you could also prepare a sauna that does not require reservations. The room was spacious and had enough space for 4 people. From the window of the room, you can see the pond in the courtyard and see the Nishikigoi swimming in it, which is the best.Due to work commitments, I arrived at the hotel past midnight, so I wasn't able to enjoy it at all, but next time I'll plan to go more slowly.

This was my first trip in a while and I was really looking forward to it, but I was surprised by the disappointing attitude of the middle-aged woman at the front desk. I was shocked as I had never stayed at a place with such an attitude before. The price is not cheap for a family, and there really is no such thing as this. When I asked the waitress where drinks were sold, she said they were sold at the front desk. When I asked if I would like to buy water, there is no. I don't sell it. He said coldly. .Also, when I went to get the keys to the private bath and private sauna, they very rudely put the keys back in the box in front of me, as if they were throwing them away...There are no shops or vending machines in the building, and although there is self-serve drink service, it is very inconvenient as it only costs one cup. When I returned from the meal, the waitress hadn't laid out the futon yet, so she told me I could go to my room and laid out the futon next to me. I wish I had read the reviews more carefully because I had an experience that I wouldn't normally have. When I checked out, I asked if the middle-aged woman was the landlady, and she said yes, and in the end I thought she was a pathetic customer service person that was laughable. The other employees' responses were normal, but I felt sorry for the other employees because that person's attitude and words made the whole impression bad.

The reason I don't recommend it is the lack of friendliness and service spirit of the facility staff. There were some kind male staff members, but they were generally curt. When I arrived before check-in at 3pm, the lobby was still dark, and a male Nakai-san said in audible voice, ``We're open from 3pm, so you don't have to deal with us yet, and we don't have to serve you tea!'' I told the staff. As soon as I arrived, I felt bad. .Breakfast was also unsatisfactory as the main dish was hot.The facility has been renovated, and although it was still old in some places, there were many beautiful parts. However, there were a lot of leaves floating in the open-air bath, and there was gravel at the bottom, so I thought it could be cleaned a little more.

You can use the private open-air bath, sauna, and bedrock bath as many times as you like for free. Reservations are made using the tablet provided in each room. From 6am, I took a barrel sauna and took a cold bath. When I lay down on the bed next to it, the sunlight filtering through the trees made me feel comfortable.Meals served in a private room are also wonderful. It looks fantastic with smoke being cooked in the garden. This is an inn where two people can enjoy the sauna and bedrock bath while holed up in the inn.

Lovely ryokan in the town of Yamamashi. Large bedroom with shōji breaking up the room. Private exit to the pond area shown. Room service available. Can book private hot tub and sauna session in their alcove rooms. Very talking gardens to walk around, perfect for a few days retreat away from busy cities. We came by cars.
