We stayed in one of the traditional Japanese rooms and it was very clean and comfortable. The room does not have any shower so this means bathing and soaking in the onsen is a nightly ritual. The Onsen is very clean, welcoming and has good amenities. The owner also offered us a ride to the train station which we totally appreciate because dragging our luggages to the train station would be a pain.Would highly recommend and come back if we ever revisit the area.

The boss is handsome, the boss is kind, the service is good, the boss has no problem communicating in basic English👍Located next to Kawaguchi Lake, you can enjoy hydrangeas during the day and beautiful and simple lakeside night views at night👍Each room type is the size and layout of an ordinary hot spring hotel. The hot spring area also has the specifications of a general hot spring hotel, and it is very comfortable to soak in 👍I like its high-ceiling lobby, which has a full sense of space, bright and clean windows, and is very beautiful👍Yukata are available for men and women. They are the most beautiful ones in this hot spring street. When walking on the small street, you will hold your head up and hold your chest high👍The only drawback is that there is no elevator. Fortunately, the boss will help carry the suitcases upstairs, and also drive to help carry the luggage to the train station when leaving❤️The boss also introduced a delicious restaurant next door and helped communicate with the store to ask for a discount👍

This is an inn on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. It looks Western-style, but the interior is a Japanese-style room. The room was clean and the large bath was nice.I also like that the massage chair is free.Above all, the host is very kind.I stayed at Fuji Hill as an inn.Thank you very much for your kind response.

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. It is next to Lake Kawaguchi. The room is clean and there is a hot spring. The colors of the yukata here are beautiful. When we checked out, the boss noticed that we had extra luggage and helped us carry it to Lake Kawaguchi Station. It was a great place. Value for money hot spring B&B.

I was unsure about booking a very traditional Japanese lodging since I'm much more used to the western-style hotels that are available and was worried somehow as an "outsider" I'd be unwelcome or make a fool of myself...Well, let me just put your mind at ease - the owners of Wakamizusou made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. Things are traditional, but they are very helpful, polite, & courteous - from the slippers at the front door to multilingual notes on proper onsen etiquette, the staff offered one of the best stays I've had in all of Japan. If you're looking for a comfortable place to call home during your stay in Kawaguchiko (and with a spectacular restaurant next door!), look no further.10/10, will stay here again.

A relatively economical and good choice for accommodation in Lake KawaguchiLocation:Facing the lake, with Mount Fuji behind, no window view of Mount Fuji. There is stop No. 7 on the Huanhu Red Line nearby. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the stationHowever, the bus around the lake is often full during the peak season. The bus may not be so convenientfood:There are supermarkets and supermarkets nearbyThere are also some restaurants within a 10-minute walkFor food near the station, you have to walk there on your own.But the buses don’t run that late, so we need to pay more attention to this point when going back and forth.Serve:Booked this time through BookingIt is very convenient to prepare the reservation form in advanceThe shop owner confirms the passport and informationYou will be handed over the room keys and precautions. The host can speak some EnglishBut overallThere were no problems with accommodation and check-out.It would be better if the people who come can order in Japanese or use a translator to communicate and help. It’s basically no problem for Taiwanese people to understand some Chinese characters. They also directly show that if you insist on English, this place is not suitable XDequipment:Breakfast needs to be ordered extra. Dinner is not included.Only stairs, no elevatorThe first floor is a hot spring, massage chair, and drink vending machine.Highly recommended to try the hot springs2nd floor lobbyThere is a preparation room on the main room floor on the 3rd floor where you can microwave things or wash dishes. There is a shower room, entertainment room and smoking area on the 4th floor.People who are not used to bathing can go to the 4th floor to take a showerRoom:Stayed in a 3-person room this timeThe room has tatami mats and a toilet insideTV, refrigerator, humidifier, heating and coolingThere are not many plugs and it is recommended to bring your own extension cord.Comes with a water heater and tea set so you can make your own teaBath towels, washcloths and toothbrushes (yukata are on the second floor) are also available. There is a wardrobe where you can hang your coat

Great room and great location. Shared shower for our room, but it was clean and no wait. The onsen was nice and relaxing with a cool atmosphere. The woman working at the counter didn't know much English but we checked in without much difficulty
