You pay for the views of the mountain!! It’s a stunning view in the morning and in the evening. The traditional sleeping was actually comfortable, the room was very spacious and I liked the vibe of it. I think it is a family business and the owners had limited English but were very welcoming and nice. The food was delicious too! & the private onsen was a great experience!!

The hotel is already tired, but it has an indescribable atmosphere, and the onsen on the roof with a view of Fuji is simply amazing, the food was very unusual for us, especially breakfast, but everything is beautiful …

I was looking for a place where I could stay with my pet at a reasonable price and found this place.I didn't have any previous information and was looking for a cheap accommodation, so I visited without expecting much...As a result, I was able to have a very relaxing and enjoyable time.First of all, I was surprised by the location, right in front of the lake and Mt. Fuji! The food is delicious (food that feels like a ryokan)! The view from the room and the open-air bath is also amazing!I was also happy that there was a thermos with hot water in the room so I could make tea right away! The building itself is old, but the details such as cleaning and freshness of the posters have been taken care of, giving the impression that it has been used with care. The room was calm and had a nostalgic feel to it, the food was delicious, and I felt like I was celebrating the end of the year at my grandparents' house lol.You can walk right to the lake, so it was nice to walk the dog.It was an unexpectedly nice stay. thank you very much.

I went on a mountain day. It looks like it would take about an hour to get there by bus from Lake Kawaguchi, but there were so many tourists that day that it actually took more than two hours. 😰The hotel is in the Showa era style, and the old man at the front desk was very kind and helped us with various issues such as how to reserve a private open-air bath and bus ride times. The room was clean, and you could see Mt. Fuji from the window of the room. The rice was Japanese style and delicious. I also recommend homemade ice cream, I chose almond and strawberry cheese. There is a convenience store nearby. If you walk, it will take 30 minutes round trip, and you can see some nice scenery along the way, and there may even be a restaurant. There is also a campsite in front of the hotel. It's a very nice place. I recommend it! ☺️

I collaborated with Mt. Fuji not at a hotel but at my favorite Lake Shoji.Up until now, the weather has been really bad with Mt. Fuji, and it has been rainy and cloudy all year round.I finally got the best shot with the sacred mountain FUJIYAMA 😊We set out before 3am to aim for a time when there are fewer people, and drove along Doshi Michi to see the sunrise at Lake Yamanaka. After visiting Lake Motosu and Lake Saiko, we arrived after 7 o'clock.

A very recommended hotel! The price-performance ratio is very, very high. Every room has a view of Mount Fuji + Lake Shojin. Guests can book a private hot spring bath every day and enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji while bathing. The two included meals are very, very exquisite and delicious. I will love it in the future. I want to stay here again after visiting Mount Fuji

I failed to reserve a room, so I only used the private bath, but I was really disappointed that I couldn't use the room. The private bath can comfortably accommodate two adults, and the view of Mt. Fuji and the lake is truly beautiful.
